ARCHIVED I Need To Complain!
Littllemel replied to Littllemel's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
I started the rotation diet last week and I am still having issues. I write everything down and I think I got cross contaminated from a teflon pan a few days ago,so I went out and bought another one. I got sick again. So I brought it back and got an anodized pan, I used it yesterday but I can't tell yet if I am going to get sicker because I am already sick... -

I read an article today the microwaving your food causes toxins in the food. Have I just lost another tool I can't use? I have to microwave my leftover food everyday at work. Does this mean I will never heal my leaky gut. I just had to replace all of my teflon pans too. How am I going to warm up my food?? This thing is going to kill me!! -

I woke up in another one of those moods. It's like I have one good day then one bad. Yesterday was great, but today I already had D twice. I feel like Im starving to death but I am always eating. At least today I see my new ND. I hope she is worth the $240 I have to shell out of pocket! I am also seeing a nutritionist with the military today, at least that... -
I am looking for some inspiring stories about leaky gut and food intolerances. I am currently on a rotation diet trying to fix leaky gut and I read a lot of posts on this site but sometimes they can be very sad. Which in turn can make me sad. Even my own posts are very sad and depressing. Has anyone ever beaten this and gotten better? How long did it take...

ARCHIVED Can Anyone Recomend A Diet Rotation Book?
Littllemel replied to Littllemel's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Camochelle - you should try the rotation diet. It is supposed to stop your gut from creating new intolerances. Believe me I HATE the diet but one thing good about it is that my symptoms have calmed down. The rotation of the foods gives your intestines a break which allows them to heal and then "supposedly" you can add back the foods you became intolerant... -

Feeling a little better today. I think the fact that my hormones are so messed up from this condition plus I had to give up my BC pills to heal my leaky gut. So I am getting so emotional all of the time. Maybe I should get on at BC patch. I think I am too afraid to do it since my hormones are so bad right now. I seem to be better in the mornings and by... -

I guess I just need to vent and complain a bit. My Celiac biopsies came up negative but I definitely have gluten/dairy/soy/corn intolerance and leaky gut. I have had to give up my entire way of life just to live and breathe. My symtoms of leaky gut if I am glutened are severe hypoglycemia, dry mouth, gi problems, reflux and hormonal imbalances such as... -
I am definitely gluten/dairy intolerant and have leaky gut but have tested negative for Celiac in an endo-biopsy. I have a Dr's appointment on Monday and I want to ask for the blood tests to test for Celiac since I hear there is a high false negative rate with the biobsies. What are the blood tests called? I also have purchased the supplements iFlora...

ARCHIVED Need Rotational Diet Examples

I don't even know how to cook. So I am not sure how to make my own stock. That is what makes this whole thing so overwhelming and upseting. I am wondering around like a lost puppy trying to figure out what to eat and what not to eat and how to cook this and that. I can't tell you how my dishes I have burned or overcooked since this thing started. If you can... -
ARCHIVED Can Anyone Recomend A Diet Rotation Book?

I have already tried posting for diet examples and I haven't received enough feedback from that post to help me create my own diet yet. Can someone recomend a good book? I am still not sure what is causing my leaky gut but it could be yeast or parasites. I am now intolerant to gluten/dairy/corn and possibly soy. I had a reation to some soy protein powder... -

How do you make your salmon patties? Alot of those dinner ideas contain multiple ingredients which makes it hard to not duplicate for rotation. Is there an alternate soup stock you use that doesn't have yeast? -
ARCHIVED Need Rotational Diet Examples

I was hoping that those folks that are on rotational diets could post their diet plans for me. I started making a list of the foods I like and can eat and it is very small so I could use some ideas on additional foods too. So far my gluten/dairy/corn free list is: Fruits, Almond/Coconut milk,Green Beans, Carrots, squash, asparagus, Rice Crisp Cereal... -
ARCHIVED Need Rotational Diet Examples

I actually don't know what I am doing. I have such poor doctors through the military that I am trying to piece this illness together on my own. It all started with severe reflux in January and in March I discovered the wheat intollerance and it made the reflux die down but it has returned so I have since taken dairy and corn out since my food diary seems... -
I am having trouble mapping out a rotational diet because of my intolerances to gluten, dairy and corn. I am looking for others to post their diets so I can get some ideas of what I need to do and eat. Please help!?

I am 6 weeks gluten free because I thought I had Celiac because of my severe reflux and the endo showed small intestine inflamation. 3 weeks into it the diet and my reflux was half the problem it used to be. Prior to the diet, I had to sleep upright, had constant burning in my throat, sinuses and lungs from reflux. It was so severe it was making my life... -

Didn't the "scientists" come up with something similar in the 1960s to make wheat more moist too? And now 40-50 years later we are all becoming intolerant to it. Isn't anyone else concerned that in 40-50 years we will all become intolerant to our gluten free breads if they start chemically altering it? I would take serious caution here. Just sayin. -

I have been on Nexium for my reflux not Zantac. I tried a couple of times to stop recently but I am still getting heartburn and reflux is still in my lungs as I have the "cough" after eating. Hopefully it will pass in a few more weeks and I can ween off the Nexium. I have had my blood sugar checked, it was giving me problems with hypoglycemia for the...

How long after were you able to stop acid meds? I am always so scared it will come back that is how bad it was.

Glad to hear there are some doctors out there that know what they are doing. I just wish I had one of them. This thing is hard enough to go through by yourself let alone without a good doctor. I hope my GP comes through and pick up the slack of the Gastro.

ARCHIVED Not So Gluten Free
Littllemel replied to Littllemel's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I think it might be something I am putting on my skin. Avalon Organics Moisturizer Plus w Vit C is the only product I have where I can't verify if it is gluten free. The company won't commit to an answer. I didn't use it today but I am still itchy all over. -

Is there a list of foods that say they are gluten free but people have had reactions from? I swear the kinnikinnick bread I got is giving me a reaction. -
I am not diagnosed with Sjogrens yet but I took blood tests today and I only have the dry mouth, I don't think I have dry eye. My dry mouth is pretty bad though. I can't eat food without water. I wake up with my tongue totally dry and almost painful. I have to spray it throughout the night with Stoppers4. It takes like a gallon of water throughout the day...
