I have tried everything, and it never ends well. Gloves, mask, taking a shower the second I'm done. It all resulted in me getting glutenized. I didn't try a repirator, but a cone mask didn't help at all. If you have to work with it, then cover as much of you as you can.

From what I have been told, they really don't help. Not with the damage. I was at my Doctor yesterday because I'm in severe reaction from chicken nuggets that were supposed to be gluten free. A company mixed up their gluten-free chicken nuggets with regular ones. They've been recalled, but I ate them Sunday. At this point I just have to be treated as symptoms...

I got gluten on Saturday, quite by accident. My reaction is so severe I end up in the hospital every time. However, the hospital yesterday could not help me at all. Even told me celiac can only affect digestion. I have no filter organs left, so it seems to really bother my heart and lungs now. I guess I was hoping there was some magic enzyme that would stop...

I have seen digestive enzymes mentioned as a possible treatment for gluten side effects. I went to the er last night and the doctor there had never heard of them. What are they? Do they help? Do you have to take them with probiotics? Are they safe for advance celiac?

I went to the er yesterday because I could not breath. I got glutenized on Saturday.
