  1. Thank-you. I wonder why it made me sick...hmmmm. Maybe msg in the natural flavor. I tested a bit of it again today to see if that was it and I got sick again. Frustrating....Oh well, I will do a plain one next time! Thanks again.
  2. I am trying to post the following question and cannot figure out how to doe it. Please help: Are Trader Joe's Brined Organic Whole Chickens gluten free? I got sick after eating some but am not sure it was due to gluten. The store was not sure and customer service has not gotten back to me.
  3. I can't figure out how to change where my topic posts, so I hope I get some hits from this. But I enjoy cooking and have a lot of recipes whose only gluten containing ingredient is all-purpose or self- rising flour. I want to continue to make these recipes substituting gluten free flour. But I've read you can't just choose any type of gluten free flour to...
  4. I should add that I did get all of the other blood tests you can get for celiacs and they all came back negative, except for the one mentioned above that was positive.
  5. Lol-lol-lol!!!! I love it! I do take this seriously and am very concerned about being told I have had a false positive. But I do agree that my doctor may be an idiot! I think I am going to go back to my pcp and ask her to send me to another gastro doctor for a second opinion. And yes Skylark, this is the same doctor that said I had ibs.
  6. If you have celiacs or are gluten intolerant how does it feel? Let me specifically add my symptoms that I have. I do not have chronic diarrhea but do get constipation a lot and have issues with nausea after eating. I also get gas and bloating with fatigue. I have been diagnosed with ibs-d and fibromyalgia. If I were to go gluten free how would I know if it...
  7. I am in the process of working with a doctor to see if I have celiacs. I definately seem to have an intolerance to gluten, but I am reading so much about food allergies and how badly they can affect our bodies. Should I see my pcp and talk to her about getting tested for food allergies? I have health insurance. In others experiences, were allergy testing...
  8. Today I am getting ready to start the eat clean diet! I am going to make sure I substitute gluten ingredients with non gluten ones. Forget the doctors and what they say....I definately have food issues. I pray this will make my ibs and fibromyalgia feel much better! I can't wait to start talking gluten free food stuff with people on this site! I love it....
  9. I recently posted my blood test results for celiacs disease. I met with my doctor today who said the positive test that I got was most likely a false positive and that I probably don't have celiacs. But he did give me another blood test today. It was called an endomysial Ab. The test that I showed positive for before was Deamidated Gliadin Abs, IgA 76 High...
  10. I will do whatever it takes. If you knew me, I hope you would see someone with potential. I can't give up! Thanks for the support. I really need it now!
  11. I was diagnosed with fibromyaglia in 2008. I was offically diagnosed with ibs in 2012; unoffically in 2008. I have been through a lot. This includes surgery, physical therapy, and many medications. Tomorrow I meet with my gastro doctor about a possible positive blood test result for celiacs. Has anybody else besides me been through heck and back? I'm so scared...
  12. I meet with my gastro doctor soon to discuss some blood test results I got back that may point towards Celiacs Disease. I am hoping to get sent in for a liver biopsy. I have been researching a lot about the disease and I have a lot of the symptoms. But one symptom I am questioning is diarreah. I do get bouts of diarreah but not as bad as I get chronic constipation...
  13. I really appreciate the responses. Honestly, Mushroom, your wonderful explanation was a little over my head. I apologize if I sound ignorant. But atleast I got a possible answer. I meet with my doctor again on Wednesday to see what he says. Thank-you for the information. I'm sure I will continue trying to dissect it throughout the weekend! I may post again...
  14. I recently got a Celiac Disease Complete Panel. I cannot get a response from my doctor as to these results. One result came back as high. Could someone please tell me what it means? I will post all the results in case that is needed. Celiac Disease Complete Panel: Immunoglobulin A, Qn, Serum 218 mg/dL reference interval 70-400 Deamidated Gliadin...
