    ARCHIVED Kidney Pain

Thank you all for your comments and opinions, much appreciated
  3. Hello I'm going through a gluten accident with lots of symptoms, pain being the worst. I am finding that supplements (an allergyfriendly multivitamin/mineral and anti-yeast supplements) are causing me the same pain as the original gluten pain. Does anyone else feel that certain food or supplements hurt or cause digestive issues when you have been glutened...

    ARCHIVED Kidney Pain

Thank you so much to both of you for answering. I did a selftest bought at the pharmacy and it showed protein and blood in my urine. I have previously been checked for infection which was negative so the doctor doesn't know what the cause is. So I thought perhaps it is caused by gluten accidents.

    ARCHIVED Kidney Pain

Hi When I accidentally eat gluten, I first get intense burning pain in the stomach area, but then my kidneys start to hurt bad also. To me this is weird. Could the pain and inflammation from the small intestine spread to the kidneys? Has anyone else experienced this?
  6. Hello I recently received the VSL#3 unflavoured kind which I ordered from the UK. And was disappointed to see that it had a warning on both the box and individual sachets which I hadn't noticed when I placed the order: 'Warning: this product contains traces of gluten, soy, lactose and skimmed dehydrated milk.' They have basically put traces of ALL the...
  7. I've tried for several days now to unsubscribe from the message board and celiac.com on a whole......with no success!!! Scott told me very briefly what to do, when this didn't work, he just repeated himself. Easy to register, but no way out again..........
  8. Hi All! I can't seem to find an option for unsubscription..... Thanx, Misa

    ARCHIVED Scd Support Group

Hi all! I'm doing really well. I still follow the main SCD outlines, but have the occasional starches such as rice and gluten-free bread. What really allows me to eat starches without problems is the amount. Previously I'd eat large portions of anything really, including starches. Now I've reduced every meal and have 4 small ones instead of 3 large ones...

Hi Connielynn38 Having problems with what one would assume is innocent rice, is what led me to try the SCD. I knew something was wrong when I couldn't even have plain rice without feeling bloated and gassy! Now I can eat potatoes and rice about twice a week with no problems whatsoever The rest of the time I stick to SCD guidlines (don't wanto push...

    ARCHIVED Endometriosis

I had endometrioses about four years ago. The surgeon told me it was the worst case she had ever operated on She also said it would return if I didn't start with strong hormones. I knew I wasn't going to start messing my system further with artificial hormones, so I did research on natural cures. I don't normally recommend books, but this is like a bible...

Hiya Brenda.....and Welcome Is it ok if I ask how long you stayed on the SCD previously. I'm just thinking if you stayed on the SCD (with your modifications of course) for a little while, maybe you soon could tolerate more and more food. Boy, I never thought I could eat cheese and nuts (yikes!) so soon, but it happened. I really hope you see results...

Hi Matilda Yeah, it's funny how pleased you can get from having something as normal BM's The time spent on cooking is really up to you. I don't like cooking at all, but therefore I eat bland (boring) food. Again, it's kind of what you make out of it. So happy you're trying the SCD! It would be great if you updated for all to see how you're...

    ARCHIVED Norway

Hi Lisa Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but glutenfree in Norway is the same as eating wheat starch . There are no breads, neither in the grocery store, cafes or health stores made with alternative grains. We do have glutenfree rice-crackers in the grocery store and the healthfood stores have (very) sweet biscuits made with maize. People in...
