Just wanted to let you know... my daughter was dx'd with T1 Diabetes in 2007 at the age of 4 and Celiac in 2008 at age 5. She is 9 now (10 in November) and the Celiac diagnosis was actually the harder of the 2 for her to adjust to. Hello, I am new to this forum so will provide a brief background. My 9 year old daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 2007 at the age of 4. I did a lot of research of course to learn the ropes, and learned that Type 1 kids are more susceptible to Celiac.
