  1. Thanks again Kaiti. We are starting the diet now. In both of our cases neither of us has much to loose by going on a gluten-free diet. We have been doing the wheat free (not neccessarily gluten-free) diet now for a month anyway.. it's almost the good news for us! LOL With this, we can atleast have SOME "bread". My husband actually feels...
  2. BTW Jer 29:11 is my all time fav scripture!!
  3. So it took about 3 months before the weight started to come back on? I am glad it helped you. I have a lot of hope that this is the answer for both my husband AND I. Nothing has made as much sense as this diet. I have had some of the same symptoms for years, myself. Do you hear people with FM having celiac disease as well, a lot on here? Thanks...
  4. I have FM and but it is my husband that we suspect has celiac disease. I am going gluten-free too because the diet has been recommended as good for FM too. My husband is 40 lbs under weight and very malnourished. He eats very well and has had every other test and they are all good. celiac disease is probable. Has anyone that was very underweight...

My husband is about 40 lbs under weight and he eats like a horse! From some of the other symptoms we suspect that he may have this. I am about that much OVERWEIGHT and have had FM now for about...
  8. Hmmm.. I am confused. They seem to show they have gluten in them? From what I a see.. what am I missing? This is very confusing! LOL AlwaysHope
  9. Thanks so much for the info Carriefaith. My husband is not going to bother to be tested because he's well.. lol .. he's a man and he doesn't do doctors.. lol As someone who has FM as well as Multiple Chemical Sensitivity I can't use regular shampoos. We are using something now that I don't think is gluten-free but I think that I will probably email the...
  10. Hi Everyone! My husband suspects he has celiac disease and has opted to just try the gluten-free diet and see how it goes. I have fibromyalgia and I have just recently discovered that I am sensitive to wheat... so we are both going to give the gluten-free diet a whirl. My question is about medications. Are things like Tylenol or other pain relievers...
