  1. I have since switched to TriEnza with DPP IV Activity made by Houston, I found it has all that Digest Spectrum had except the Cellulase which I did not want. I feel like this works best for me .... I also do take 1 Beano capsule whenever I am eating cruciferous vegetables and I have no allergic reaction(thank God) to Beano, and it helps limit...
  2. Hi Everyone, Just starting to work on my candida issues and it looks like just taking some plain old Candex is not gonna do it and I need to make some dietary changes as well. I am just learning about the Candida diet, and how grains are a no no because of their starches but seeds are okay. Can someone please explain to me how this works? I mean as...
  3. BTW, just wanted to add, I use this web site to look up Ingredients on enzymes: Open Original Shared Link Not saying to buy from them, I just use their site to pull up labels on all of the enzyme products when I want to look it up. Their web-site is the best I found so far for that purpose.
  4. Well the enzyme product I used is called Digest Spectrum by Enzymatica. but I am frustrated because I can see that it is not perfect for my body but helps alot! Another words there are some enzymes in it that my body can use very much and some not so much... I wish there was a enzyme test that could measure all the digestive enzymes and stomach acids and...
  5. Hi, I am still learning about enzymes. I have leaky gut, and after trying my first bottle of a general enzyme product, I noticed some benefits, so I became more interested to learn about enzymes. Today I came across a new term called "Brush Border Enzymes". The short explanation I saw was very relevant to being Celiac and/or have leaky gut. Apparently...
  6. Thanks for reminding me about B12 and VitD... I was low on both of those when I had a blood test a year ago.. this was even before knowing I have leaky gut.. I just got a B12 shot last night and noticed my sleep improved the same night! I started taking VitD again too although that one does not seem to show any benefits right away for me.
  7. Just wanted to give an update, I used protease by itself . It helped with digestion as did the combo panc. enzymes, but it caused constipation again...and as before, after a few days the constipation would cause low energy and then feeling down.... I then tried a bit OX Bile 125mg capsule with it and it solved the constipation problem. So all this time,...
  8. Well, since most of these food allergies revolve around problem with certain protein digestions, I wonder if potatos just don't have the protein that I am allergic to. I know I am allergic to Gluten, but I am talking besides glutern. Maybe there is other protein that are not yet researched enough to make as much headlines as gluten. For example, I hear there...
  9. hehehe... well i am trying to find out if there is an actual name for it so I can look up recepies and join their meetup groups! ... who knows I may find all kinds of friends and even my soulmate ...... Anyone else out there is on "What Works for Ray Today" diet ??? J/K
  10. Hi, I am not sure if there is a name for what I can and can not eat. I seem to do fine with a small amount of white rice or potato but no other grains. Also, unlike people who do fine on a Paleo diet with seeds, I can not eat seeds either. So basically, my diet is Paleo +rice/potato and (- seeds) ! Is there a name for this diet?
  11. Well I ordered some Protease alone and should get it next week. I will report back the results to see if it does help digest as well as the combo of all 3 without the side effects that the combo of all 3 causes for me. Another side effect I forgot to mention in my original post is that the combo gives me constipation. For the combo, I am using Gluten Digest...
  12. I came across something interesting after putting up the original post. Apparently, there is a test that can measure the enzymes called: Chymotrypsin enzyme test Also, when I did a search for the word Chymotrypsin enzyme I came across this link that explains more about enzymes: Open Original Shared Link Not sure how reliable it is, but just wanted...
  13. Hi, I am new to this board and first of all I want to say I am very thankful for such a forum to exist. It has helped me educate myself alot. About 3 weeks ago I was diagnosed with leaky gut syndrome, and one of the products my doctor has advised me to take is a Pancreatic Enzyme product. I had taken Combo Pancreatic enzymes in the past and although...
