  1. I had already been off gluten for a month and a half when this test was taken. What does this mean? IGA= 40 H IGG= 4 Nobody has explained what that actually means?
  2. How did you find out you could no longer have grains? Is there a test or do have to do the elimination diet?
  3. I do eat quite a bit of cheese. Otherwise, I drink almond milk.
  4. I have been off of gluten for four months and I am still bloated. I feel 80% better but I am still bloated and gassy. I just don't know what to do anymore.
  5. I was diagnosed with celiac via the IgA test, however I just did a poke test today and even though I highly suspect dairy, it did not show up as an allergen. Would a blood test be more efficient to ask for, and what is the correct blood test? Is it IgE? Thanks
  6. I have been off gluten for three months now. I have found in the first month, I had very bad withdrawals, i.e. all my symptoms of fatigue, bloating, etc. got much worse. I have not found an increase in libido, it is still very low. I no longer have muscle pain; however, I still have bad gas. I have just developed a new kind of low grade bloating (I...
  7. Are there supplements to take help with celiac? Should I technically go to a GI doctor, as my regular doctor kind of just said the blood tests are positive for it and then I asked what I should do other than continue eating gluten free; she said I don't need to do anything. I assume there is something more to do? Is a biopsy beneficial (provided that...
  8. Or it may have been IgG, I cannot remember (either way she said it was a confirmation)
  9. I had some blood test results that no doctor had gone over yet (and I did not even know what I was being tested for) transferred to my new doctor. I asked her about being off gluten and whether I could be tested to make sure. She looked through my blood tests and found I was already tested, she said my IGA was VERY high and I then indeed was gluten intolerant...
  10. I actually found a new doctor that I am going to this week. I decided against going back to that doctor. He insisted that I must have mold or Lyme disease and had me run a myriad of tests, which I did not agree with and knew I did not have (but I guess I'm a sucker; I don't like to say no). It's been a month and a half, I've been insisting they tell me...
  11. My doctor, despite asking him to test me first, told me to go off gluten but as I mentioned did not test me. I have been off gluten for three months now. I finally feel better this month. I no longer lay in bed all day, have night sweats, severe bloating, as much chronic gas, my joints hurt less, my anxiety has improved, I have longer weird sensations...
