    I got my daughter the grilled nuggets and fries, and she got sick. Tried again, this time told them to have the person handling her food change gloves... it was a rookie mistake I forgot to ask the first time. Success!

    My daughter was diagnosed in January, and she has her first follow up appointment today. Her bloodwork all looks really good. I want to make sure I ask anything/everything I should... any suggestions? Right now I have questions about some of the bloodwork, the vitamins I give her, and whether I should give her culturelle, if her weight is good... ...

    when my daughter had her endoscopy, everything looked normal too.. biopsies confirmed celiac.

    We love to shop at Costco... it makes my gluten-free 3 yr old very happy that they always, always have gluten-free samples. Seriously... for every gluten sample they have, there is another nearby booth with a gluten-free sample!

    father and sister were tested, and she said they were fine. i saw sisters results... all in normal range, but i didn't see dad's... for all i know it is like mine was. I have a follow up with her at the end of May for my daughter, so I will talk with her about it at that time. thanks!

    These were my results... I was tested after my three year old was diagnosed. She said the IGg is generally over sensitive and since the total IGa was low (and all other results), we could "ignore" the elevated number. Hmmm...

    My daughter should go this month for her 3 month follow up bloodwork. She was diagnosed at the end of January. I've seen a marked improvement in her gastro symptoms, and she has even gained weight. I am hoping to see a drastic improvement in her bloodwork as well, but I don't know how long that kind of thing takes. I don't want to get disheartened if...

    My DD wasn't FTT, but she was tiny, and that combined with chronic diarrhea is what led to her being tested. At the GI, she basically just reviewed the results and recommended endoscopy to confirm. She also recommended seeing a dietician, which we did, but it was a waste of time and money, as she basically said we could google stuff. thanks lady. anyway...

    I have tried the ian panko and gluten-free bisquick on chicken -- both were good, but since I have to omit egg, neither was particularly crispy

    i'm new to all of this, but my daughter can't have eggs either, so i do the gluten-free bisquick with a banana instead of the egg, and i use coconut oil to sub the veg oil. they turn out great... even better w/ chocolate chips

    yeah, their stuff usually says when it's processed on shared equipment, but maybe it shares a facility or something. thanks for the recipe... i use the stuff like once a year for pot roast

    thanks... that's what i thought... i just thought it was weird it wasn't labelled gluten-free since many of their store brand items are.

    We still have gluten stuffs in our house, but they are really only for my other dd's lunches. The dinners I make have been gluten free, which hasn't been that big of an adjustment, really.

    My three year old was diagnosed in january -- been gluten free for about six weeks, and found out yesterday she's gained over a pound! I'm so happy that she showed some weight gain so quickly... just wanted to share.

I've seen people mention Dove, and we happen to have a huge container of Dove conditioner that my husband bought by accident thinking it was lotion so I went out and bought the shampoo to go with it.     I have a three year old who was recently diagnosed... which shampoos/lotions/soaps/detergents do you recommend. I'm trying to be cost conscious; it would help if I could get brands offered at Target or regular grocery stores. Any advice?

    I've been avoiding all egg product with her for the past two years. I have never tried the egg replacer, but I bought some ener-g to try. Egg has been amazingly easy to avoid. I also ordered a bunch of books/cookbooks/gluten-free labels from amazon the other day, so I'm anxiously awaiting their arrival. The nice thing is that I try to eat pretty low...
