  1. Hi ladies I have ds on a gluten-free diet and just ordered Enjoy life cereal bars and cookies My ds had 1 bar and 1 cookie for the past 2 days Today he is a mess....he had about 7 b/m and is very gassy Is this just coincidence? Did anyone else have this reaction.... Confused, Kim

Very dark circles, skinny arms/legs and bigger belly I am trying gluten-free now and hope it goes well I am just nervous since he is also dairy/soy free and a light eater....his options are limited Thanks again Kim

Hi I don't find going gluten-free too difficult My only issue with my ds is he LOVES waffles/pancakes etc He is also dairy/soy free until I can figure everything out Is there a waffle that is d/s/gluten-free? I couldn't find one at my local Whole Foods I also could use a bread rec....Whole Foods bread contains soy flour Any advice appreciated! ...

Hi I could be very wrong, but I don't believe Zach, my 3yr old, has celiac I think he may have a gluten intolerance/sensitivity....his weight is not an issue (though he is small) He also has problems with constipation and reflux I had him on a gluten-free diet for a while and he improved, LOTS more energy/happier etc He has some gluten the past few...

Hi We are having the same problems...I can't seem to figure out the right amount for my 3yr old I was giving him 2 tsp but that seemed like too much so I backed down...then he was constipated If I give him 1 tbsp he goes too much I tried taking him off it and using flaxseed but that was a disaster I'll have to look into the probiotics Thanks, kim

OH BOY...I have been there with BOTH my kids They both have/had reflux as well as food allergies when they were young My ds was b/f but my dd did the best on a hypo formula like alimentum I hope you have a good GI appt.... Hi ladies We've been invited to some bbq/parties, and I am in knots over zach's diet I don't expect everyone to have a menu just for us....but Zach will be 3 in october and he wants what all the other kids are eating (especially cake time..he is also dairy free!) Our family/friends suggest bringing things he likes/can eat but for those with a head strong...

I picked up Shoprite brand rice chex for my ds..i think he may be reacting to them I called Shoprite and asked about ing and allergens and was told they are GLUTEN free....the 2nd ing. is barley malt extract..   22. Hi ladies I've had my 2 yr old son on a dairy/gluten and soy free diet for about a week now and I am AMAZED at the results...he is like a new little man! His temperament has changed completely and NO more wild mood swings/horrific tantrums I also have a 9 mnths old dd, so I am a little crunched for time and would love some ideas for any easy to prepare...
  23. Thanks so much for your response.... I've never heard of the YORK scan, I'll have to ask my ped/GI about this...?? I'm still undecided wether or not I should take him for the RAST blood test... Like I mentioned he is doing well gluten/dairy and soy free... The only thing I'm not really sure about it egg? I also think our Gi did the b/w for celiac...

Hi Since everyone here is so knowledgeable..i thought i would ask for your opinions regarding the RAST or blood test for allergies My now 26 mnths old displays SOME signs of celiac disease...but not all... The Gi ran blood work, don't know the exact info..but all came back fine When I explained to our ped how ds was behaving she said sounded like it...
