  1. Hi My advice would be to TRY the gluten-free diet..... My ds is 3yr old and is a completely different child when he has gluten He is hyper, doesn't listen/focus...is plain old FRESH...if u know what I mean good Luck
  2. Thanks Carla I don't think he is tolerating the oats after all Yesterday after a big bowl of Oaties he became very angry/aggressive/dark eyes etc I'm going to remove the oats for a while and see hoe he re-covers

  4. Hi I believe my ds is gluten intolerant and seems to do well with small amounts of oat based products i just picked up oaties...is there any other oat based products i should check out? I remember hearing scottish oatmeal was OK...i saw in my WF a cardboard tub of scottish oats...is that what people are reffering to? Thanks, Kim

  10. Hi Your son sounds very much like my son..he will be in 3 in october have you ever tried a complete elimination diet with him....or have you kept a diary? My son reacts EXACTLY as u describe when he eats corn/popped corn...he will roll around on the floor and cry/hold his belly etc He had b/w about 1 yr ago by a GI and all came back fine...allergy testing...

  13. Thanks for responding...I haven't tried any cake/cupcake mixes...but will give it a try! Yes, we are also avoiding eggs...last time he had scrambled eggs we saw blood in his stool The real problem here going gluten, dairy, soy free is avoiding corn...is seems like a lot gluten-free foods contain corn I am avoiding corn because he reacts to corn/veggie...

Hi My ds has been a medical mystery since he was born and is currently at 3yrs being treated with a high dose of reflux meds as well as 3 allergy meds I am positive he is sensitive to dairy/soy...though all allergy testing came back neg. I currently have him dairy, soy, gluten, corn free he is doing GREAT, but I am stressing over his food options.....

  16. Hi I'm going gluten-free for our 2 children and buy most of our foods ar WF or TJ....we were spending $700per mnth and last mnth was $900! Ouch...I am going to look into recipes etc to see if I could start making cookies/breads to save some $ Kim

  21. Hi ladies I have been throwing away bread like crazy My ds is already dairy/soy free and I am trying him on a gluten-free diet I've bought a few enjoy life breads/bagels and recently George bagels and they were awful is my best bet to buy a mix? Thanks for any feedback, Kim

Thanks everyone I was pretty surprised by his reaction the only thing I can think of is the cookies/bars have fiber....he seems to have a very sensitive tummy and the extra fiber could be causing gas and b/m issues? I don't know...I'm going to keep up his diet as his with the enjoy life foods and see how thing go in a few days thanks, kim
