    You're very welcome. It can be challenging to determine which products are gluten free. Sometimes, I think the safest bet is avoiding packaged products altogether.

    I was recently diagnosed with small intestine bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) after a positive lactulose hydrogen breath test. My GI has prescribed me Rifaximin. I called the manufacturer, Salix Pharmaceuticals, and they could not confirm that Rifaximin is gluten free. Has anyone taken this antibiotic, and if so, do you know if it contains gluten?     I have been reading about the benefits of Slippery Elm and Marshmallow Root for gut healing, and I was wondering if anyone on this forum can comment on whether using these herbs has been worthwhile. Also, if you have used them and had good results, what are some good gluten free brands?
