  7. ill email her right now! get back to you as soon as i hear back from her!
  8. My boyfriend and i buy this trail mix alot. being that its the only one of their mixes that i think would be gluten-free (some of the others contain choc. chips, or sesame sticks, or seasonings). i had problems with it too at the begining of my gluten-free diet. now i seem to handle it fine. i would think its ok being that M&Ms, nuts, and raisins are...
  9. just for other pittsburgh-local people: my sister, who lives on the southside, was in a store in bloomfield and said she found gluten-free beer. ive never had beer, so i have no clue if the gluten-free stuff would be any good. but she said she would pick me up some next time she was there, just something new to try! i didnt think anywhere around here even...
  10. I had emailed jack daniels questioning about their country cocktails. This is what they sent back, thought i would post it in case anyone else out there may have questioned this product In Pennsylvania, as well as a few other states, we have two different versions of our Country Cocktails. The spirits-based beverages are sold in liquor stores and come...

  12. i still dont feel well from taking the new stuff earlier. i think i may have to just throw it all away. this is horrible. i cant eat, i feel soooo awful! i dont know what is wrong with me... but i REALLY hate this
  13. i just went to the store today and got a different kind that is FOR SURE dairy free. still had some major tummy gurgling after i took it also. i took some stuff to calm my stomach down, and i feel better. when i looked up acidophilus side effects, it says it can sometimes cause gas for a little while when you start it. so im hoping it goes away! i want to...
  14. So i decided to try taking acidophilus pills. i went and spent a decent amount of money on pills (gluten-free of course). well ive taken them for 2 days, and both time after i have taken them, my stomach has hurt SO bad. I decided yesterday to take them before bed, that way maybe i would just sleep through the stomachache. But no, i was wide awake all night...

  16. This is what i have found for gluten-free peanut butter: Jif - all Peter Pan - all Planters - Creamy and Crunchy Reeses Skippy - Creamy, Crunchy, Super Crunchy, Roasted Honey Nut Smuckers - Natural There are other brands, but since these are the mainstream ones, i thought this would be the most useful!
  17. I have been gluten-free for a year. My D is gone. But now i suffer from C, bloating (really bad!) and im nauseous 24/7... the nauseous feeling is the worst and for me it NEVER goes away. I have had a couple glutening incidents, but after a couple days im back to normal- or what is normal for me (the symptoms i listed above). It wont go away, after a year...
  18. I had an email from them listing the information i had posted before, but i cant find it! so i emailed again yesterday. if i can find the other email (which was just sent to me a couple months ago) ill post it! i get very worried trusting foods that are gluten-free 2 years ago, so much can change in 2 years with ingredients!
  19. Good thing you came back and read up on the syrups! Don't need anyone sick over eating syrup with their waffles!!
  20. Aunt Jemima IS safe from everything i have found! i get so excited everytime i can buy an item at Walmart just like the rest of the world
  21. I had been eating Mrs Butterworths b/c it has been listed as gluten-free before. I had recently read in a couple places that it was no longer gluten-free. I'm going to look for something i can find for everyone as proof.
  22. I looked it up... There is one in Erie PA. which is like an hour away from me. I was actually thinking about heading to the mall up there sometime soon, so if i do i plan on checking out Wegmans. Thanks for the idea!
  23. I have no idea what Wegmans even is! Yeah, I live in the middle of nowhere. But that price sure isnt bad!
  24. i agree that 100% pure maple syrup is the way to go... but if youre a single mom, currently not working like me- gotta take the shortcuts and get what you can afford!
  25. WHOA!! check your sources on those syrups again! Aunt Jemima syrup IS gluten free. Log Cabin & Mrs. Butterworth syrups : A Pinnacle Foods consumer services rep. reported that these syrups are NOT gluten-free (they consider barley a natural flavor, and therefore it is not listed in ingredients). Pinnacle says the exception is Log Cabin Country Kitchen...
