  1. Okay, I am 100% Polish!!! I am not dx yet, but I know my problems have something to do with gluten. My fam. came over on the boat 2 generations ago on one side and the other 3 generations. So what are you guys telling me? I'm crazy after all!?? Where are all of my Polaks to prove me right!?!

    ARCHIVED Homeopathic Doctors

wow! Thanks for these replys. I agree with all of you. For one, I know that when I was taking this "remedy," my symptoms didn't go away, but I felt happy and more with it. For example, the brain fogginess was gone and I had more energy and I just felt more optomistic about things. However, I still had muscle cramps, migranes, indigestion, etc. I also...

    ARCHIVED Wary...

I have not yet been tested by enterolab (though I should get the tests tonight through mail) and I have a GI appt. next week. But I just want to say I AM SOOOOOOO HAPPY I FOUND THIS SITE, FINALLY, I AM FINDING PEOPLE WHO ARE GOING, OR WENT, THROUGH EVERYTHING THAT I HAVE FOR PRACTICALLY MY WHOLE LIFE! From panic attacks to food intolerences to indigestion...

    ARCHIVED Homeopathic Doctors

I was just wondering if anyone out there has tried a homeopathic doctor. Not naturopath, but a doctor who gives you something called a "remedy." I tried one, and it seemed like it was working for a while, but when I ate my gluten, boom!!!!!! All the symptoms were back and now I wonder, maybe it takes a while for this remedy to work, or maybe it was "bull...
  5. Yeah, I know what you mean about vitamans. Actually, I know it's bad, but I haven't taken a multi for a while......I always forget. But no, it's not that. And I do drink a lot of water and herbal tea, and sometimes it is still yellow.
  6. It's quite amazing to read all of this because I NEVER thought my bladder problems could have had anything to do with gluten. But YES, I urinate SOOOOO frequently, I also thought I had interstitial cystitis because for a while, I had burning every single day, but NO INFECTION found by doctors! My doctor also told me I have a small bladder, and irritable bladder...
  7. This is so right! If there is anyone out there who knows someone who has IBS ALONE, nothing else, and there symptoms stay the same forever, and never get worse, please, let me know. I'd be shocked, but if you can prove me wrong.......
  8. I mean that is going to be my "attitude" too.
  9. Honestly, as soon as I am done with these test in the next couple weeks (because I already have them lined up; spend much $ and everything), that is going to be my dianosis too. I was COMPLETELY gluten free for 2 days, and felt PERFECT! But dummy me wanted a diagnosis, and now I feel like CRAP CRAP CRAP every single day! I can't wait to start my new life...
  10. This alone proves that some doctors just should not be doctors. Some of them don't even have common sense! That's kinda funny, but kind of not! Who would even believe this excuse? Also I want to add, does anyone else think that IBS doesn't really exist? Does anyone think that there is ALWAYS an underlying problem that needs to be dug up? Everyone I...
  11. wow! So you also have pain in your kidneys? I have SO MANY problems with my bladder and kidneys, especially when I eat gluten! Were you diagnosed by a doctor or enterolab? This is so interesting! Every problem I have, someone else also has somewhere in one of these posts. It's so good to see! (well, bad that we're all sick and not getting too much help) but...
  12. Well, I would like to add that I am pretty sure "classic symptoms" don't really apply these days. I was diagnosed with C-IBS, constipation dominant, although it alternates. And the doctors told me that Celiac disease only causes diarrhea, so they wouldn't test me for it. Well, here I am now with a million more symptoms that IBS experts suggest is a sign of...
  13. I'm sorry, I just have one more question, if you could help: For the past week and a half, I am eating a lot of gluten, not too much, but more than I have in a while. (I mean, I'm not holding myself back like I would before, even though I would go back and forth a lot). Anyway, this past week especially, (not to be gross), but I am having extremely embarassing...
  14. I just ordered (yesterday) the Gluten Sensitivity Stool Panel Complete. I couldn't afford the extra gene test right now, plus I figured the doctor would be able to find out if I am a "full blown celiac" right now, and I am depending on enterolab to see if I am gluten sensitive. (in case the doc. gets a negative.)
  15. That's very true about people not understanding. In the long run, it's my body, so I've got to look out for my well being because I will have to be the one with the consequences, and it would be more hard just to say "sorry" to myself for ignoring my problems. I do have another question about enterolab however. Do you ever hear of anyone getting complete...
  16. I'm also new to this whole thing, and am still in the testing stages myself, but I'm wondering why your doctor told you to do the gluten-free diet before the testing. From what I am learning, you have to be back on gluten for A LOT more than a few days to get an accurate result. Especially if you were off of it for a long time. Plus, if you were feeling ...
  17. Thank you for the reassurance! I just feel so hopeless these days. New symptoms keep appearing, and you're right, no one believes me and they think it's all in my head because the doctors can't find anything. So I've been eating gluten for maybe about a month and a half by the time I go to see my doctor next Wednesday. Even though I am getting major symptoms...
  18. Thank you. I actually got the Gluten Sensitivity Stool Panel Complete without the gene test because that was like another 150 dollars. But I'm thinking, if I get any positive results for the sensitivity I will order the gene test afterwards. Spending all that money at once is out of my budget, I'm a college student. How long did it take for your results...
  19. I know what you are saying about having answers. You feel like you're are going nuts sometimes when they can't find anything, but SOMETHING is OBVIOUSLY going on! My question is, what kind of tests did you just take? Blood tests? Were you off the gluten when you took the tests? And also, have you tried going through enterolab and giving them a stool...
  20. Okay, good, thanks! May I also ask what your symptoms were? I am so intrigued by all of these things that I am learning, but I want to know more about people's symptoms. I feel like I have almost every single one listed! Also, what is the gluten challenge? And do you feel better now that you are gluten free?
  21. I was just wondering: has anyone out there gotten a negitive result back from enterolab? I know that I have some kind of gluten problem, (100%), but I don't know yet if it is full blown Celiac, intolerance, or sensitivity. I'm just wondering how accurate and specific these tests really are. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
  22. may i ask what your symptoms are?
  23. Okay, I'm getting really frusterated here. My whole family and friends, and I think possibly even my fiance think I have an eating disorder!!! Did anyone else have that problem before they were diagnosed? I have lost weight, and I do think a lot of it is because I got so "sick" of eating and getting SICK! (my stomach get so large, I look like I'm pregnant...
  24. I just want to add that the fiber pills, Citrucel pills, DO work, but not long-term. I was using them for a while, and they were working. But then I noticed that I needed to use more at a time to make me go. And eventually, they were just as useless as eating a lot a lot of high fiber food. At least in my case. But do try them, if you haven't yet, because...
  25. Thanks for replying! I actually got the Gluten Sensitivity Stool Panel Complete, without the gene test, just because of the expense. Which one did you get when you went through enterolab? I hope this test is as good as the one WITH the gene test. The gene test is specifically to see if you have the gene for celiac, and may have it, or one day have it, am...
