    She is not talking about the test to see if you have the genetic basis to get celiac. A "new" test out of Norway can tell with over 90% accuracy if you HAVE celiac, without eating gluten. I am also looking for the status of this test.

    Yes. The test for deficiency is different. Also, if they biopsy your rash for DH, make sure they take it next to the bumps, not on a bump.

    Barley is definitely not on the allergy list of items that must be revealed as ingredients in the US. Even wheat is often in items in small amounts without being listed, as in cross contamination or distilled alcohol often used in flavorings. Some people react to both.
