  1. Thanks guys for your help! I defiantly think I did way to much way to fast. It's hard to figure this stuff out! Hopefully I will learn some new stuff at the gluten free expo I'm going to this month.
  2. I re-did my blood work and my malnutrition is still bad (B-12, iron, vitamin d). I tried supplement pills for a week (they were gluten free: b-12, calcium-because I had to remove dairy, and vitamin d) but I stopped because I got sick. I had an upset tummy, couldn't get out of bed, and the veins in my eye looked like they burst. I slowly have been adding things...
  3. Open Original Shared Link I have always had issues throwing up. (Much less now! YAY!) My blood tests were positive for celiac. I was gluten-free for 5 weeks before my EGD and the biopsies still indicated celiac. I found that link ^ the day before my EGD. Whoops. ; I now understand the diet better after visits with the dietician, so it was completely possible...
  4. I hope you start to feel better! It seems we are the beginning of a long journey! Can't wait for the good days to outweigh the bad. :]
  5. I stopped the calcium and B-12 until my check in on Wednesday with the doctor. It is the only thing I added before I hit rock bottom. I wasn't taking any magnesium. (But they don't contain gluten) Debating on doing allergy testing or continuing trial and error. These Dr. appointments sure do add up. $$$
  6. My thyroid was recently checked and was functioning normally. I made an appointment with a doctor to see if they will check my adrenal glad. My pupils will hardly restrict to a flashlight and re-dilate in under a second, and I read that was a symptom of adrenal fatigue. My time outside of work is spent in bed exhausted and in severe pain. Its pretty disheartening...
  7. I have been diagnosed with celiac for several months and am living gluten free. But my lack of energy (muscle and joint paint) is ruining my life. I'm taking b-12 and vitamin d to help with deficiencies and calcium because I cut out dairy. Have you found something for energy levels or body and joint pain. I eat well. I see a dietician regularly. I cook at...
  8. Thanks for your posts! Before this I tried joining some Facebook support sites but there wasn't much talking going on. This site has a great community! Going to make an eye appointment tommorow and see if they can give me an answer. I'm have spent most of today browsing and learned a lot!
  9. Thank you for this post! I was searching this forum trying to figure out how (and when) people decide to cut foods from their diet. It was suggested that I stop dairy but I have been playing around with it. I will just eliminate it for now. Never knew about the raw veggies and fruits. My nutritionist had me supplementing all of my meals with juicing. This...
  10. I wanted to become active talking on this website, so I thought I would introduce myself. :] My name is Charlie. It has been hard finding someone else to talk gluten-free with, so I am really happy that this forum exist. I have dealt with the symptoms of celiac for a long time with no answer: being underweight, malnutrition, way to much toilet paper usage...
