  1. I read a lot but I have some questions: My lab report only this: DQA1*0501: negative DQB1*0201: positive DQB1*0302: negative Here I read in so many post speak about DQ1, DQ3, DQ4, DQ5, DQ6, etc. I think my lab tested only this 3 combination for research of celiacs predisposition (DQ2 / DQ8). I'd like to go in another laboratory and...
  2. Yes I know that. I'd just curious if there are person with this genetic type and get celiacs
  3. Hi all. Just want to know if there are anyone who just diagnosed with HLA DQB1*0201, without DQA1*0501 and celiacs. Thanks.
  4. Yes HLA it's the genetic test and if she comes out negative that roules out celiacs for ever, but is she's positive for dq2 or dq8 it's very likely she'll develop celiacs, so maybe go gluten free.
  5. Hi. I done another stool test in another laboratory (not enterolab I'm outside US). That's the results: - anti gliadin AK polyvalent: >200 (range 0-30) - anti transglutaminase AK polyvalent: 50 (range 0-30) - alpha 1 antitrypsin: normal - calprotectin: normal - lactoferrin: negative - sekretorische iga: normal The lab recommend a...
  6. Hi. I've always had low level of ferritin. Here the lab range was 30-300 for normal and I always had levels from 15 to 28. I don't have occult bleeding so I don't absorb properly iron. After my pregnancy in 2005 I tried to supplement hard with iron drops for 1,5 year without any result. What's your ferritin level prior to diagnosis (and after...
  7. Hi. I'd just want to know if there's anyone who tested positive at anti gliadin iga stool test (like enterolab o other celiacs value) and negative in normal blood test. Does anyone was diagnosed celiacs with positive blood test months or years LATER the first positive on stool test ?
  8. I found this about tTG, in celiac (celiac disease) and IBD. "SUMMARY Recent studies identified tissue transglutaminase (tTG) as the antigen eliciting antiendomysial antibodies (EMA) in celiac disease (celiac disease). Anti-tTG antibodies have therefore been proposed as a serological test for celiac disease. Nevertheless, IgA anti-tTG but not EMA have also...
  9. Ciclinglady , do you have a marsh 3 and have only 1 positive test? I really thinked a marsc 3 meant a lot of strong positive tests !
  10. I have a light positive on asca igg but negative iga. Doc said asca measured gut permeability. I don't have any colonscopy yet. Asca are found in crohn s, diabetes, other autoimmune issue ( ulcerative colitis, autoimmune liver and pancreas), and celiacs. So today asca cannot be used only as crohn s marker. I have a tTG test in 2013 done was negative...
  11. Hi. Do you have a high value of anti transglutaminase tTG iga and igg ? I read that tTG are formed in The tissue when there are damaged.... In celiacs but also in crohn's and ulcerative colitis. The celiacs (villi atrophy) it's the last stages of gut damages not the first, so maybe in first stages of inflammation there aren't tTG productions but the...
