    Yes HLA it's the genetic test and if she comes out negative that roules out celiacs for ever, but is she's positive for dq2 or dq8 it's very likely she'll develop celiacs, so maybe go gluten free.

    Hi. I've always had low level of ferritin. Here the lab range was 30-300 for normal and I always had levels from 15 to 28. I don't have occult bleeding so I don't absorb properly iron.     I have a light positive on asca igg but negative iga. Doc said asca measured gut permeability. I don't have any colonscopy yet.     Hi. My grandmother have strange symptoms during her lifetime, but never tested for celiacs. I have the DQ2 so I think I inherited the gene from mother or father. My aunt tell me my grandmother have stomac and liver problems, anemia, weakness, was underweight all lifetime. Is it possible she was maybe celiacs ? She never stopped eat gluten so......

    Hi all. I'm new to this forum. I have a genetic HLA test done. I carry the gene DBQ1*0201. Reading over internet I found that is a gene that predispose to celiacs disease.
