It took two years for my DH diagnosis to come to fruition. I'm 46 and started having food related allergies 3 years ago. Had hives for years. Finally had a caring Dermatologist do a skin biopsy and confirmed DH. Was so relieved and totally thought I would get better. Wish someone would have told me that was a misconception. I have fatty liver disease...
