  1. I am going to push hard for 6+ samples. As I cannot imagine how bad I'll feel getting a negative result. I need some answers and a chance of a life without exhaustion. Since my last post, I've had a few upsetting realisations. My mum has had a life of symptoms much the same as mine, but hers have...
  2. I'm based in the UK and have just received a positive TTG IGA and a positive EMA IGA. I've been sick for 23 years in total, in which time I've been overlooked dramatically. 5 years ago, after much research, I felt there was enough symptoms to suggest celiacs, so I went out and purchased the Biocard...
  3. old post, but I felt the need to point out, that the poster didn't suggest it was. Read it again.
  4. Cyclinglady, thanks. My GP suggested getting the gastro privately as it will speed things up a lot, then the biopsy on the NHS. NVSMOM, yet again you're a fountain of knowledge, helping alleviate my concerns. Now I've had the positive blood, I'm worried I'll have a negative biopsy, but your post...
  5. Just been to my consultation with my GP and have been referred. My results are as follows: Tissu transglutaminase lGA level: 130 u/ml. Range 0.00 - 2.9u/ml Endomysial antibody lGA level. Weak positive. No figures for that? Is that a visual test perhaps? Any assistance in understanding the figures...
  6. Just got my results back today. I called the surgery and asked if my results were back. The receptionist said yes, but the doctor hasn't checked them yet. I asked if she could give me the result, to which she replied no. So after work, I went in to the surgery and asked for a copy of my results...
  7. I actually found a post of yours, pretty much saying the above. Thank you. So many on the Facebook groups state that the Biocard tests aren't reliable, yet they have be basis for their opinion. Yet I still allow it to cast more and more doubts over my positivive results. I had the blood tests on...
  8. Thanks a lot. I am going to go to my appointment and see how it goes. If it's a negative test, I am going gluten free anyway. When I do go gluten free, many of my symptoms go away. Though I have never stuck to it long enough. These positive tests however will give me the motivation.
  9. I aslo had my partner do the test, which showed no line at all. Ugh, I am literally driving myself insane over this! It almost feels easier to just stay sick. I have had positive tests for ANA several times, Lupus Anticoagulant, lifetime of symptoms and yet never a diagnosis, just brick wall after...
  10. 5 years ago, I did 4 home tests using Biocard. All were positive. I went to my doc and she dismissed me instantly, stating that the home tests cannot be accurate and that because I am a normal weight, I cannot possibly have Celiacs, ALL celiacs are underweight. I now know that is not true. I have...
