  1. Hey Chestnut, for me it was the same. Since I've been gluten free I dream all the time. It was one of the first things I noticed. N
  2. Really? that would definitely suck. So what happens? how do they get diagnosed without symptoms? prolly a stupid question. Anywho, she wasn't diagnosed, she found out on her own after feelin like crap every day her whole life. N
  3. The ones I have don't list soy. If it cramps your stomache regardless then it prolly isn't that good to drink! lol, thats crazy. I've tried about three times now. One day I got up in the morn on an empty stomache and drank about a quarter of the bottle and by mid morn I was crampin pretty bad. Funny how it emulates a gluten attack. Same symptoms and...
  4. Seems strange that it causes the same type of reaction as a gluten reaction, I wonder if it really is safe. N
  5. yeah the ezkeial is what she was talkin about. N
  6. No I haven't tried any of the other flavours except orange. Guess it would have to be the colouring. Bummer. I'll maybe try a different one when I have time to wreck myself for a couple of days, lol. N
  7. Yup, thats it. Glad I asked. There seems to be a lot of people who think they have this disease but really don't. If she can tolerate that then she's definitely not celiac. Thanks! N
  8. I was in a gluten free section at a local store the other day and met someone browsing the fridge too. We began chatting about celiac, she had it too. She mentioned that she eats some sort of bread that is made by some ancient wheat grain. It's wheat but the protein isn't milled out or something. She said its just like regular bread and she its it all the...
  9. Hey folks, I checked the forums here and saw that a lot of people drink Gatorade with no issues. I also see, right from Quaker themselves that it is in fact Gluten free. I have a violent reaction to it. My stomache kicks it out within hours and I pay dearly for it for a couple of days. This is the exact type of reaction that I had when I drank Tropicana Grape...
  10. What Lab are they talking about? What type of beer? So Barley Gluten is called Horedin? and is this not what Heineken would test? What should I do to prove the integrity of information from Hieneken? Has anyone tried drinking Heineken to see if they react? If God himself said it was gluten-free I wouldn't believe him but I'm willing to give...
  11. I dug this up on Heineken, 3. Is Heineken gluten-free? Yes, it is. The WHO guideline for gluten-free food is that it must contain less than 0.02% gluten (200mg/l). Heinekens gluten levels are way below this level, at 0.0005% gluten. We recommend that coeliac patients check with their doctor before trying Heineken. from Open Original Shared Link...
  12. Does the Baluchon ship? I'm in NewBrunswick. Has anyone heard of this beer? Open Original Shared Link it is supposidly gluten free but can't say legally that it is because of potential cross contamenation. I would think that in order for a gluten free beer to hit the major market (within the next year) it would have to avoid advertising as a gluten...
  13. Thanks for the reply, Does anyone have a recipe or a way that I can use my bread machine?
  14. I got a bread machine for Christmas and now I'm wondering if I should return it cause I can't for the life of me get a descent loaf of bread out of it. The recipe I'm using is in the 125 best gluten free book by Donna Washburn and Heather Butt. They say to put it at 2 hour basic rapid cycle. Well my bread machine has like 3 settings, 70 min rapid cycle...
