Hey there, Finially Thursday is my appt and I'm nervous. I've never had surgury before. The nurse said I'll be fine to go to work on Friday. Will I be sore? -
Thanks all for the info....I'm confused though, nini, I thought you had to consume gluten before the endoscopy so it will show positive results for celiac. If I'm gluten free won't I take a risk having negative results because of the diet?

Hi all, I first found out I have an allegy to wheat with a IgE blood test then a nurse pract. ordered more blood tests, I think a Celiac Panel. She called me and said I don't have the antibody for celiac so I don't have the disease but now the GI doctor wants to do an endoscopy to know for sure. Hi Lisa, It seems so strange that these pains came on the same time the Dr. started ordering tests. Maybe my body is just screaming "no more gluton" after not knowing what was wrong for so long. Where should I ask for the Delfi Produce list? Thanks to all on this site. Just reading all the posts has really helped. The internet can be a wonderful thing... -

Hi Betty, I feel the same way. I've only been gluten-free for 6 days. The first fews days, I was happy I didn't feel bloated but now I'm horribly bloated and keep thinking something else is wrong. I've felt bloated all day today so far, I made an appointment for tomorrow, I'm hoping he'll have more answers for me or can send me to a Gastroenterologist. I have had problems with bloating for about 6 years. First I was told it was because I had fibroids, then a couple of years later my Dr. had me do an upper GI and told me I had acid reflux. Then in December my gas and bloating got so bad he ran some blood tests on me and a food allegy test came back and Jan 12th he told me I have an allergic reaction to wheat...
