I'm new at the posting of questions (and a Celiac for 2 years) hope I do it right. Sorry in advance for the dumb question; but is Swans down cake flour Gluten free? I was watching the Food network the other night and I thought Elton Brown, while making an angel food cake, mentioned "Swans down cake flour has no gluten" which makes it the best...

Thank you so much Carrie! I am very fortunate, that my family will eat anything I put on the table. Most of the time, I don't even mention Gluten free. We have enjoyed your chili recipe several times.

I am going on almost 2 years of gluten-free and have to admit it was difficult to begin...I couldn't even spell Celiac. I agree that you probably need to heal and be kind to yourself, you will figure this out. Anyway, I shop a lot at Whole Foods, you can copy their Gluten Free items on line. Trader Joes and Wild Oats have a nice selection of items as well... -
I have been fortunate in our Chilis in Pleasanton, the managers mom is Celiac and all of the cooks have been trained When we are seated, I give them my gluten-free card from Clan Thompson (and a copy in Spanish as well) and I have enjoyed every meal, worry free.

I had a similar experience at Chevys. In addition, the Chef was up to date on "Gluten Free" because their Managers mother is Celiac!
