  1. Jen....the pain comes and goes along with numbness in my legs and face. She is testing me for Rheumatoid Arthritis, Thyroid disease, Lupus, MS, Addison's Disease and a few other auto-immune diseases (are there even any more!) I am finding out that people diagnosed with Celiacs are 30% more likely to also aquire another auto-immune disease. I am fortunate...

Thanks for all of the good advice on the aching back pain....couldn't stand the pain so I went to the docs and now am being tested for Lupus, Thyroid Disease and also Arthritis..more auto immune diseases. She doesn't seem to think that it (the pain in my back and joints) is due to Celiac disease. I have to say so far I have been lucky with my doc as her...
  3. It is aweful when you're 38 years old and feel like an 80 year old woman. I have been taking tylenol rapid release and had no idea that it had gluten in it...it wasn't listed on the label. Does anyone have a list of over the counter medicines with gluten in it? This whole thing is such a vicious cycle it is hard to stay positive!
  4. Can anyone offer me any advice on what to take to help with my aching body? I woke up this morning and felt like I couldn't get out of bed because someone hit me across the lower back with a baseball bat....my whole body hurts!!!!!!!!! ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Does anyone know if Mary Kay products have gluten in them? Preferably the make up and skin care line? I have been using it for over 20 years and so far it has not bothered me...but I am curious if anyone knows. Mary Pelly
  6. Hi Chris...I am from Brewer Maine and am 38. I was diagnosed last week with Celiacs disease. I do not know anyone from Maine with this disease. I am still in shock...as I love to eat! If you have any tips for me that would be great:) Mary
