  1. Hi there, Does anyone ever take a risk with natural flavors? I have found what looks to be some excellent wine coolers but can not get a hold of the company. These are California Coolers Wine Coolers which are definitely WINE not malt based. The only questionable ingredient would be the Natural Flavors which are the very last ingredient listed. I do...
  2. Hi! Yes the malt thing is correct, we can not have malt. It was wonderful because they changed all the wine coolers over to malt the month I got diagnosed a year ago. Anyway, these fabulous six packs are wine based & new. The only thing we couldn't have would be the natural flavors. Thanks! Jaimi
  3. Hi! Does anyone know if the new California Coolers are gluten-free? These are a new wine cooler product made by a company called Majestic Brands. I can not find a website for them, thus have no phone number. I am pretty sure if I called them they would say they don't know if they are gluten-free or not, like most fun flavored wine drinks tell me. Just...
  4. Hello, I am making lasagna for my mother-in-law's bday dinner & my Precious Ricotta says it has vinegar. Could anyone remind me of what the rule is on vinegar? It does not say distilled vinegar. Thank you, Jaimi
  5. Could anyone possibly give me some gluten-free sugar free pancake syrups? I think Aunt Jemima is but they don't have that at my usual store. Thank you! Jaimi
  6. Hi there! Does anyone know if Smuckers Sugar Free Strawberry Preserves are gluten-free? Or Land O Lakes Light Butter with Canola Oil? Thanks! Jaimi
  7. Couple more quick things, the Co-op in Ashland has no-boil gluten-free lasagna noodles & Market of Choice in Ashland has the gluten-free Budweiser beer, which I didn't like but at least they have it!
  8. Oh wow! I live 2 miles from Eagle Point. Small World! I get my food at Fred Meyer, and then my corn/rice cake things at Food 4 Less. Fred Meyer is more expensive with less of a selection but it is a nicer store with a drop-off child play area so it is worth it to me! Food 4 Less has a great gluten-free selection but the store is not very nice! Popular...
  9. Burdee, Thanks a million for all those great restaurants! I know my sister eats at Wild Ginger a lot so that is great to know they have a meal for me! Thanks so much! jaimi
  10. Larry, You are the best. Thank you so much for that wonderful info. I just can not believe I have gone almost a year without a non-Outback margarita. It would have taken me a year to find all of that info you gave me. Thank you so very much, I will be trying my new margarita as soon as I can! thank you! jaimi
  11. Hi there Momma Goose, Thank you for the coke/pepsi idea, I was planning on trying your 7&7 idea. I know people who drink that I just have never tried it. I don't know what Seagrams is, but 7up would be great. Thanks for your help! jaimi
  12. Hi! I am going to visit my sister in Seattle in March & wanted to know if anyone had any restaurant tips for that big city for me! Does anyone have a favorite restaurant that does gluten-free to your standards? Or a bar that you know has gluten-free margaritas? I guess I am being optimistic about the bar, they won't really let my kids in but maybe...
  13. Hey Courtney, I do not get to go out, well really ever, because my kids are 2 & 4 so I don't have a regular bar. We are going out to a really fancy restaurant in February for my grandpa's 90th & I was just thinking it would be so nice to have a daiquiri or something. I am also going to Seattle in March for my first real trip away from my kitchen...
  14. Could anyone tell me if there is a mixed drink I can order at a bar? My favorite used to be a margarita but aside from homemade or Outback I don't know how I could order one at a bar. I am not a big fan of coke, I use to prefer any fruity girly drinks but have had to stick to red wine since diagnosed. Does anyone have any suggestions? thanks!
  15. Could anyone possibly tell me what vanilla to buy to cook with? I don't care if it is real or artificial, as long as it is gluten-free! I shop at Fred Meyer so Kroger or any of the other mainstream brands would work. Thank you!
