    I have celiac disease & a gene test showing DQ2 gene. Don't one of my parents have to have this gene for me to have it? If not how on earth does it get passed on?

    I have been anemic since I was 12 so could that mean that it would not be from colon cancer? My doctor has said that I am anemic due to small RBC's not iron deficiency but we will get further tests back on that today.

    Hi! I am just trying to figure out my joint pain. I had NO JOINT PAIN whatsoever until two weeks AFTER I was diagnosed (which means the pain started two weeks AFTER going gluten-free.)     Has anyone had a colonoscopy due to a celiac's risk for bowel cancer being higher than the general population? I am only 30 so it would not normally be indicated for my age but I would not want anything to go undetected. Also however I do NOT WANT a colonoscopy. Thank you!

    Hi! Burger King's website lists foods that are "wheat free." Does anyone know if this means gluten free? I am particularly wondering about their tendergrill chicken salad that is listed as "wheat free." Or what can we eat at Burger King? Thanks for any help you can give me!

    Can anyone help me? The Neutrogena Build-a-Tan has made my skin peel which can not be good. Plus now I look tan with white splotches where I peeled! Does anyone know of any other tanning lotions that are gluten-free or have the names of any I can look up on the Delphi list? I so loved the Jergens Glow but that has oats.     I was diagnosed 2 weeks ago so I am taking my kids today to get their blood drawn. I do not want to do this repeatedly over the next year so I am asking to have them tested for the genetic test (HLA/DQ2/DQ8), the celiac panel & a cmp to check for any nutrition problems.     Does anyone know if Grand Marnier is gluten-free? Or does anyone just order a margarita & assume it is gluten-free or do you have to always ask the ingredients of a margarita? Not that I will ever find a babysitter to go have one just dreaming here but if I do I want to be prepared.
