  1. Thank you for the information. Where do you buy them? Do you get them on line or a local store? I'm planning to go look for them tomorrow. Hopefully I can find them. Thanks again, Carol
  2. Which enzymes do you recommend? I'm still new at this and would like to buy some b/c I feel like I'm not digesting food very well. I'm already on a gluten free diet but I some times feel sick of my stomach mainly from gas. Your help is appreciated, Carol
  3. My IgG came back positive last week. I'm part Irish and part Spanish (probably Mayan as well but not sure). I say I probably have about 25% Irish from my mother's side and 75% Spanish from my father's side. Carol Rachel .... now there is two of us. I'm also part Spanish
  4. Thank you. I'll check it out. Maybe I'll give it a try. The truth is that I don't miss some of the things I used to eat befofe I went on the yeast free / low carb diet but I just can't wait to finally feel like myself again. Thanks ... Carol
  5. Hello guys. Thanks for all the replies and participation in the post. Meg, I had to ask. Some times I feel like I'm going crazy so I needed to know if it had gotten a lot better for other or if it was going to be like I'm feeling right now forever. Tara, we have almost the same time then. I'm going to be gluten free for about a week soon. ...
  6. Thank you Chelsea!! I hope I feel better soon. The funny thing is that when they drew the blood I wasn't feeling as miserable as now. I was feeling some what OK so my iron levels have probably dropped since then. Hopefully they will be going back up with what I'm doing. There are certain foods I can't eat (such as molases) b/c of my Candida so I'm limited...
  7. Hello Chelsea. Thanks for reading me and replying. You too had to go through this ... I'm sorry, its awfaul and I don't wish it on any one. Believe me, I'm keeping my blood ... I need all of it right now So you were as bad as me? I'm glad you are doing better. The Feosol has not made me feel sick as far as I can tell ... I was already feeling...
  8. Hello Patti. Thanks for the reply. I'm feeling so bad I feel like crying. I'm sorry you had to go through this as well. I turned in my resignation at work today. I had already planned doing this before I got sick but now it will help me rest for a few weeks before I start school. Hopefully I feel better by then. Do you remember what your iron levels...
  9. Hello Julie, Sorry you had to go through this also. Its awful but I'm glad you are doing better ... it gives me hope. Well, I'm not on any prescription iron b/c my dear Dr. has not called me back since Thursday (I actually think the nurse is not giving her the messages) and well my husband bought me Feosol and I've been taking it for 3 days. I...
  10. It could be yeast. Stay away from yeast for a while to see if it helps. I have had it before but not too much but I was diagnosed with Candida as well as Celiac D. I'm on a yeast free diet as well plus allergy shots and daily dosages of Nystatin. You can also talk to an allergist who believes in Candida Albican to see if you have yeast problems. Hope...

  12. Hello Mango. That is good to know. How long have you been on the diet? How soon after did you feel better? How long did you have symptoms before going on the diet? I'm glad there is hope. I feel pretty hopeless right now. Thanks. Carol
  13. Hello all. I was wondering if anyone feels good at all after following the Gluten free diet? I know staying away from Gluten and its derivatives is the only thing that works with Celiac symptoms but does anyone feel good at all from following the diet? Or is the diet only supposed to help some? I've been reading some of the posts but I haven't read...
  14. I was told I had Candidysis one year before my celiac disease test came back +. I suffer from allergies and Raynaud's as well. My iron levels came back very low a few days ago (when my celiac disease test came back +) and that is making me feel miserable. I hope I don't see anything else coming on though, I think my nerves have been affected some as well...
  15. Hello Lynne. Wow!!! Is better to wait and see what the insurance will do. I understan what you mean. Medical treatment is getting more expensive by the minute Hope you fee better soon. Thanks, Carol

  17. Michael, Thanks for information. I'll tell the Dr. next time we talk. She only did the tests I mentioned above. I hope I don't have something else. celiac disease can be controlled and I don't know what other diseases also have a + IgG but they might not be controlled. Do you know what does other diseases are? Thanks, Carol
  18. Thanks Kim. I'm glad you are doing better and hopefully will not need the biopsy. I hate the though of having a biopsy. Yes, I love it here. You guys are great. Hugs, Carol Thanks ... I heard about probiotics also. I'm going to start looking for them. I mentioned the digestive enzymes to my husband but he stated that...
  19. Thank you Nisla. I like that ... I don't like the thought of the biopsy.
  20. Hello Michael. According to the result sheet they gave me this AM, for celiac disease IgG antibodies are more sensitive than IgA antibodies, but IgA antibodies are more specific than IgG. I'm sorry your son is sick. It most be very hard especially since children don't understand what is going on. Thanks for the reply. I hope your little boy...
  21. Hello Chelsea ... You made me laugh about not crossing the nurses. She hasn't called yet so she is probably not very happy with me right now. The bad thing is that on the 20th I was going back to get my second Hepatitis B shot and she is the one who will be administering it ... ouch!!! So there are a lot of similarities between our test results...
  22. Hello Jerseyangel. Thanks for reading me and replying. I'm glad to read that the low iron is a symptom of the celiac disease. My husband is at the store right now buying me supplements for iron and vitamin C. I believe he stated C is necessary for iron absorption. The weird thing is that I feel better when I eat a good balance meal but of course it makes...
  23. Hello Nini. Thanks for the reply. I really do hate how things are done some times at the doctor's office. I love medicine and I hate seeing people struggling with sickness and on top of that with the doctors/nurses and medical insurances. So I guess the IgG coming back positive means I have Celiac Disease. Is a biopsy needed? Thanks again, Carol
  24. Hello guys, I went to pick up my lab work results today after canceling my appoinment yesterday since I still don't know if my insurance will help me cover the $800 something for the tests. Anyway, the doctor only ordered two of the tests: Test IgG Gliadin Antibody Results 31.5 ...
