    Patti, yer not a pain in the butt! It is completely dairy free, you puree the potatoes and the corn after cooking and it is incredibly creamy. In fact, if you wanted to experiment with df soups and chowders for the fall and winter, pureed corn makes a very creamy base (I saw this tip years ago on a low fat cooking show, how to make creamy soups...
