    I met with my ENT yesterday who reckons Iv got a chronic case of tonsillitis. I’m not overly convinced myself, but he’s given me a 4 week course of antibiotics to see if it clears things up.

    Many thanks for ur response. Yeah it makes sense that it would take a while to heal. I found out only yesterday that my favourite crisps have gluten in them and Iv been eating them for the past 6 months. Mistakes obviously do happen but hopefully I can get a hang of this diet soon!     Hi guys. Iv been doing a bit of research, and I seem to read regularly that I should have seen a significant improvement within 6-8 weeks of going gluten free. Just wondering if what I am experiencing above is normal, as it’s been 12 weeks now, or if I should push for an earlier appt as I’m not really seeing any major improvement?

    I was diagnosed with celiac disease around 5 years ago. I never really followed the diet as my symptoms were never too bad. Around 5 months ago I developed a pain below my rib cage.     I was diagnosed celiac around 5 years ago, but I’ve stupidly never followed the gluten-free diet very closely as I never really experienced any symptoms that were too bad.
