    What is involved in this testing, My doctor wants to meet with me today to discuss having a biopsy done, and I'm a little worried. Does it involve enemas and such, I've never had anything like that done before.

    How do they perform the biopsy for Celiac? My doctor has told me I have DH and now is talking about doing a biopsy to test further. Is it similar to a colonoskopy?

    I really don't mind the microwave stuff, but would prefer the air popped stuff more. I'll have to give the paper bag a try and see what its like, it'd be more fresh I think than that prepackaged stuff.

    I'm one of those low carbers from a couple of years ago that didn't realize I had DH (dermatitis herpatiformis). When I was on a low carb diet a coule of years ago, I didn't have as many breakouts, because I was not eating the breads, wheat products & pasta's that contain the gluten that made the rash appear, but had never heard of the condition before...

    I've had DH for over 3 years now, but didn't know it because my doctor didn't tell me till just last week. Was just formally told by my doctor that is what my skin issues are.
