  1. With all the positive feedback, I guess I have no more excuses. Thanks all. Very much appreciated!
  2. Won't matter to me if/when I do get them, if they can be seen or not. I am 44 and just excited about the fact that I may have straight teeth one day. I always felt that my teeth would not last me very long as I was always at the dentist, but since being gluten-free, my teeth seem to have stabilized and I now think they may be with me for a while...
  3. I have been relatively symptom free now for 7 months and I do not want to proceed with them if the procedure or any substance they use in installing them might cause a reaction. Thanks for your response. I have been sending notes to our Celiac association, (Ottawa & Canada sites) and have not received any response. I am beginning to think that...
  4. I was diagnosed 5 years ago and have no trouble sticking to the diet. I am quite anal about anything I put in my mouth and that is why I was wondering if anyone out there has had braces put on their teeth after being diagnosed and whether or not you have had any side-effects from them?

Thanks very much! I hope you have support like I do at home. My wife is amazing. Best of luck in your own journey.

    ARCHIVED Dizziness/vertigo

I have been gluten-free for almost 3 years and I am still having new strange things happen to me. I often fell dizzy or like I'm in a fog and I wonder if it is related to inner ear trouble. However, a month or so ago, I quite suddenly, like a switch being turned on, felt like I was going crazy. I wouldn't call it depression. This lasted for 5 or 6 hours...
  8. Thanks very much Richard.
  9. I am always so aware of everything that goes in or near my mouth. Tomorrow I visit the dentist and I am concerned about the tools, rubber gloves and materials that he uses. Should I be? Any advice. Thanks. Rod.
  10. Hi all. I am new to this forum and have been reading your posts with much interest. I am 43 and was diagnosed with celiac disease just over 2 years ago. I sort of stumbled into it. I had gone for years for tests because of recurring nausea, but as you all well know, they found nothing. Then one day, in a tired and dehydrated state, (from sports...
