  1. I don't know which ones...he was telling me this after the biopsy and I was still kind of out of it. He told me that there were 2 tests done and the better of the 2 was negative. I guess I would just prefer to have all of the tests run again to be sure. I'm not saying that I hope I have it, but at least it would explain my symptoms! Thanks for the feedback...
  2. I had my endoscopy today and my GI doc was looking at my blood tests for celiac. He told me that I had 2 blood tests ran, 1 which was positive and the other was negative....he also says there is a 3rd blood test that I did not have done, but we can do after we get biopsy results back. What does this mean, does anyone know?
  3. Before I toss out everything in my pantry, does anyone know if hidden valley ranch light dressing and ranch dip mixes are gluten free? Thanks!
  4. I have read about a lot of different vitamins and supplements that celiacs should take to aid in intestinal healing and to get nutrients....I just take a multivitamin formulated for women. Should I be taking other things and which brands would everyone recommend? Thanks!
  5. In some info that my doctor gave me it says that dried fruit should be avoided on a gluten-free diet....does anyone know about this? I eat a trail mix with dried fruit and nuts all the time. Thanks!
  6. I am so angry about this....had a positive blood test and get my endoscopy next Thursday. I have always been careful to be healthy...always ate lean protein, fruits/veggies, and whole grains. I run and/or lift weights 5 days a week, don't drink or smoke, wear sunscreen...everything and I am the one who gets sick when everyone around me seems perfectly healthy...
  7. Does anyone know if trident original and spearmint flavors are gluten-free? Thanks!
  8. What about envelope glue? I work in a bank and use envelopes all day long....thanks!
  9. thanks lorka - I use the dream mousse blush and lash expansion mascara from maybelline and covergirl eyeshadow, concealer, powder, and outlast lip stick....do you use any of these?
  10. Thanks! He broke his leg in 3 different places and will be laid up for quite awhile so I have to cook for him and since he isn't working our finances are in heaps of trouble so if I can still feed him regular bread instead of $5.00 a loaf gluten free bread we will be much better off. All of our pans are run through the dishwasher and we have a glass cutting...
  11. I don't really have a reaction to gluten.....I got checked because I was feeling fatigue and more bloated than normal but nothing really serious. I'm afraid that when I go gluten free after my biopsy that I won't know if I'm getting traces of gluten from something I use...any advice on how to deal with this I think I am going to be constantly paranoid!
  12. How careful should I be being newly gluten free? My husband still eats it, and I cook for him a lot especially now that he has a broken leg....if I make sure to wash my hands and cooking surfaces is that okay? I don't have a lot of symptoms or get very sick from gluten so I am not sure if I would notice if I was still getting traces of it - any feedback...
  13. I'm new so I don't know if this has been covered yet, but I just received and email from No Name steaks saying that all of their products are gluten free. So if anyone loves the salmon like me, don't be afraid of the marinade on it!
  14. I am new to gluten-free living - can anyone tell me anything about these products I currently use, are they gluten free? Arm & Hammer deodorant Colgate toothpaste Natural ice lip balm Suave and Lubriderm lotions Covergirl and Maybelline cosmetics Dove shampoo and conditioner St Ives Apricot scrub Olay moisturizer walgreens brand vitamins suave...
