    Thanks for everyone's info. The rash took 21 days to go "away", at least systemically. Now she is getting a few new blisters again, but definitely not as prevalant as before. We are going gluten-free on Wednesday (they get out of school on Tuesday). She is being blood tested again in July while they are retesting her her short stature profile again. ...
  2. We went to the ped Derm today. My daughter (age 5) has some of the symptoms of celiac, such as not even being on the weight/height charts, falling off her own growth curve and family history of many GI disorders (none diagnosed as yet with celiac as it has not been worked up in any of them). She then developed a funky rash which two trips to the pediatrician...
  3. My daughter, age 6, is just now beginning the testing phase. She has been short stature for quite awhile and has fallen off of her own curve again. She is not even on the charts. At the age of almost 4, one of the antibodies was high for celiac and one was low, though I have read that antibodies are not a good predictor of celiac in children under 5....
  4. I don't know if it is a symptom or not. I just read under the sleep forum that a lot of people have this. Whether it is just a common enough problem or related to celiac, I am not sure. I have heard though that people who are under stress (physical or emotional) will grind their teeth. My daughter, age 6, is just now beginning the testing phase...
