Thanks for getting back to me... no it might not be something I would like to hear but the truth is what I want. I would rather that then getting a fine or wasting a bunch of food at the border. Have they ever refused anything of yours? What do they do when that happens?

I am driving across the boarder. I would like to pre-make a bunch of meals to go with me but I am not sure how the US border with like that? Do they accept veggies and fruit if it is like in a frozen casserole? I have looked at the websites and they do talk about fresh fruits and veggies but not if it is homemade pre-made stuff.

That is the best way to do it ! I did that the other night with a gluten-free miso based spicy carrot cauliflower soup...and now I am doing it again with the turkey left overs ... I have had the turkey broth brewing since 6pm last night ... the house smells AWESOME it is going to drive the guys NUTS when they get home ! I don't think I could follow a recipe...

I just though I would post a positive thing that happened to me. We had our thanksgiving dinner last night and my family ,about 14 person dinner, had a gluten free meal ! ( aside from the pie for dessert ) It was so awesome ! They are finally starting to take this illness and furthermore cross contamination thing seriously ! I made some stuffing that EVERYONE...

I am also 24. Your symptoms are very similar to mine ,with the exception of like 4-5. The relationship part of it is similar as well. Although my husband is "saying " he is willing to have a gluten free kitchen he dose otherwise, which is sooooo frustrating. We are having a hard time at the moment as well and a lot has to do with the illness. I think...

I am sooooooooo soooooooo glad that other ppl have this ... I get it not only on my neck but my whole body where there is lymph glands. My Doctor looked at me like I was NUTS when I told them about it ... I have gotten so bad that my husband can't even hug me sometimes ! The Docs had no answers and didn't believe me when I talked about how painful it can...

The other day he was saying that this household has a lot of symptoms that are a lot alike. Then he said what if we all caught a long term bug ? Now I am telling him he needs to be tested becuase this sort of thing...

I did have a endoscopy and a biopsy. I was admitted into the hospital for my symtops on my wedding night !! and they didn't know what was wrong with me. I didn't even want to put on my wedding dress on on the big day. What a gong show ! I think they did run other lab work but the specialest didn't recieve it so ( I am just reading the lab slip now ) it...

OHHHHH that is what the Dr meant when he said I have a touch fo Celiac. I was so confused I thought that was like say well..... your a little bit pregnant ! I wonder what my numbers are now? I will have to ask them to give me a printout as well.

It seams like there are a lot of ppl in and around BC Anybody know of any restaurants in and around BC that is good to eat at with Celiac ? ( even the places just outside would be helpful in case I go on a little trip ; ) ) K

Hello new to this forum thing ..... New to this Celiac thing ( like I found out on Tuesday May 30th). I think that it still hasn't hit me yet. Any other Canadians here ? Anyone in BC ?
