  1. Hey Geoff, Not to be a buzz kill, but Cliff Bars have gluten in them. I know on the wrapper it says they source from non wheat or something, but on the Cliff Bar web site, it says they are not gluten free. I've been on the search for the perfect gluten-free sports bar. I like Balance peanut/honey/yogurt bars. They last well on long rides. Dee
  2. Yes, I went to see Dr. Fassano. He was great and has a nery good team. They don't rush you -- I was there for two hours talking to nutritionist, nurses and doctor. I got a bone scan to check for osteoporosis. He says cancer is unlikely.
  3. I was diagnosed in 1996 and cheated on the diet for 10 years. I have gone completely gluten free since May and finally have an appointment with a celiac specialist in Baltimore. Any advice on things I should ask at the appoinment? I am concerned that I may have done damage cheating for all those years, but I don't know how they will figure that out. ...

  5. Hey, I really understand where you are coming from. I was diagnosed in 1996 -- actually I was hospilized for a couple days while they did biopsy and iv'ed me vitamins. I had lost some weight and was having a lot of D and was tired and pale. I had never heard of anyone having this -- it sucked. I was pretty diligent about the diet for like a year. ...
