Here we are at a week out from getting his endoscopy done and the little guy is sick! Running a fever and complaining that his throat hurts...and his chest hurts and his head hurts and he puked two days ago but now I can't tell if it's because he's sick or if this is the Celiac's talking.

We only have a week and then we were going gluten free after the endoscopy. Will they still do it if he's sick? I'm not sure how they are with that....I know how they are with regular surgeries. Oy. I don't want to keep giving my little guy something that is so obviously making him feel bad. :( He asked me to give him Miralax yesterday because he knows it kind of helps. He's 6....how sad is that?

Anyway....I really hope they still do this. I am going to see if they'll take a quick look at him while I have his siblings in for their blood work. I don't think it's anything too serious but he has been running a fever for 2 days now.

He has his preop appointment on Friday....so I am hoping he is better by then.

Found out the the HCTZ doesn't have gluten in it.  But for me it made my sodium level drop so low, I ended up in hospital.  So it is gluten free, but didn't help my blood pressure levels. Everyone is different.

You are right, it does say that it doesn't contain gluten: https://www.gaviscon.ie/products/gaviscon-advance-aniseed-flavor-liquid/   Is there any chance you have a sensitivity to one of its many other ingredients?

Palmers pure shea vanilla body lotion has got oat extract as an ingredient, just to be careful as oats that are not specifically gluten free have risk of contamination with gluten containing grains.
