Need A Good Doctor In Ohio

Does anyone know a good doctor in Ohio? I have DH with celiac disease and looking for a good doctor in the ohio area, if anyone knows one please post!

I am in Kansas, but the Dr. that helped to diagnose me just moved back to Ohio. He wasn't an expert in Celiac Disease, HOWEVER, he was MORE than willing to learn and open to anything. He was a great guy....you might try to see where he is in Ohio....his name is Dr. Brian Hendrickson. Best wishes.

The Columbus support group (Gluten Free Gang) has a web site -- columbusceliac.org.

You should contact Mary Kay Sherritt, at Columbus Children's Hospital. She should be able to recommend a good doctor (I wasn't sure if you needed pediatric or adult -- either way, she's very nice, and very plugged into the Columbus community.

      If you have hemorrhoids 1x weekly I don't see how you have time to heal from one episode before you experience another one, unless each one is a very minor event. Have you consulted a physician about your hemorrhoid issue? It's not normal to be having an episode every week unless it is really one episode that is not completely healing between weekly...

      No I haven't had one since 2021. I rarely have more than 1 per week.

      Sorry, I see that now as I reread your original post. You say you have hemorrhoids "only once a week" now. When I develop hemorrhoids, which is once every few years now, it generally takes 3-4 days for healing to take place. So, it doesn't seem like you could have much relief time between episodes if you have them weekly. Have you had a lower GI scoping done...

      Everyday I eat a medium to large apple in the morning and a large banana at night. I eat a cup of oatmeal in the evening. The ezekiel wheat bread I eat has a good amount of fiber. I haven't dealt with constipation for at least a year. Most of the time my feces are soft.
