I woke up this morning and was told by my dad that cheerios had a recall. What did I eat last week? A whole box of that junk. Safe to assume the few days of stabbing pains and diarrhea were caused by eating a box(probably ate it over a four day period). So, thank you cheerios for putting the label on your box before double checking your stuff and I hope all of you aren't eating it and if you haven't heard, take it back. Still have to get an endoscopy, but my doctor is firm on I have it because "the blood tests today are great at detecting it". So, I guess within the next few months Ill be swallowing a camera and hoping I wont have to take one up the other end!(sedatives or no sedatives, hate the idea)

I swear the same thing happened with the gluten-free Eggo waffles!!! I've been eating  my kids leftovers from breakfast and I've finally connected the two!! Anyone else have issues with the gluten free Eggo waffles ?

      That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

      Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

      Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

      Does Dailymed.nlm.nih.gov site have filters for gluten?

      Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.

      To evaluate the TTG antibody result we’d need to know the normal range for that lab.  Labs don’t all use the same units.  However, based on any normal ranges that I’ve seen and the listed result being greater than a number rather than a specific number, I’d say yes, that is high! Higher than the range where the test can give a quantitative result. You got good advice not to change your diet yet.  If you went gluten free your intestines would start to heal, confusing any further testing,
