Go Smile Toothpaste...

Hi everyone.

Well, I've been feeling so good this past week, except for a couple of little things that I noticed came back, but just a little bit.

This weird headache that I get when I eat gluten, where if I touch the right side of my head, even a piece of my hair, I get a sharp nauseating pain in the left side of my head. Well, it's back.......and I haven't changed my diet. I eat whole foods only these days. I'm very careful. The only thing that I can think of that I DID switch was my toothpaste for one day. My fiance's cousin was doing this promotion with GO Smile Toothpaste....kind of like a gourmet toothpaste. I think they may even just sell it in New York at like Sax Fifth Avenue and Lord & Taylor, dept. stores like that. Annnyway, I thought I would give it a try because his cousin told me it's like "dessert in the morning" it's tastes so good! (that alone should have told me NO)

Anyway, I looked over the ingrediants, and I didn't see anything that stood out. It didn't even say "flavor" or natural or artificial anything. But it DID say sorbitol. So I'm wondering, could this sorbitol possibly be derived from gluten grains? I know that I can't have candy these days, even the gluten free kind though, so maybe I just can't have the "sorbitol" derived from corn either.........?

Anyone else have this strange problem with sorbitol? Or could I be getting my reaction from something totally different?

Thanks!

These are the ingrediants listed:

lemonade toothpaste ingredients:

Sorbitol, Purified Water, Hydrated Silica, Glycerin, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Essential Oil of Lemon, Sodium Monofluorphosphate, Cellulose Gum, Lemon Extract, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Saccharin, Titanium Dioxide , White Cranberry Powder

Maybe cross contamination of another flavor, too.......

https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/joim.70025 Very recent (September 2025) Finland study may be of interest. Borderline negative and low positive ant-TTG, with negative and positive EMA tests in patients diagnosed with Celiac Disease.

Thanks for the list too makes me realise why I still get symptoms after cutting gluten , all that reading has just made sense to why I'm still struggling , thankyou Scott Adams very insightful , I've been baking to and there is xanthum gum in the flour , I understand now why I still have issues with that too, and ive had to cut dairy also , i had a terrible flare few months ago and my throat also was very irritable and I had sinuses issues all makes sence 👍

Thankyou yes I read up on it beforehand , because or my trapped nerve when I have a bowel flare up it's impossible to keep still  which I will have to do for the MRI ,and it's so painful , and I know if this is what I'm thinking it to be it will cause me terrible issues , sometimes I get to the point where I just want to diagnose myself and act accordingly, because I've been at this year's , and I clearly have all the symptoms , it's so frustrating when you have all this going in and still feel no further ahead 😳
