Did not have the pleasure of knowing her. I believe I joined after she stopped writing. My heart and prayers go to all of you and her family who knew and cherished her. I wish I had known her. She sounds like a bright and shining star.

Well if somebody wants to walk me through how to change the dang thing I will!

We had a 'best feet' contest like four years ago or something and I haven't bothered

Last year I was trying to find extra large fresh birds for a deal and people were a bit prickly -- a very nice butcher at my local store went to look in back for extra large birds for me -- found the last two and thought it was going to start a riot when I put both in my cart -- luckily it was one of the rare missions that I had my hubby along to block while I escaped with my birds. Hey - it's not my fault no one else thought to ask if there were any more? :P

Luckily this store seemed to have a good supply, but i kept my distance. They were circling like vultures.

I used to work in a grocery store. People get CRAZY before holidays and storms.

Still makes no sense to me. How, if your power goes out in a storm, are you going

to use the milk and eggs you're buying? How do you not know Thanksgiving is coming

and at least somewhat prepare ahead of time? Why must you make us suffer ten

minutes before closing Thanksgiving Eve?.....

During this time of year, i tend to be more polite to the employees (not that i'm not the rest of the year just moreso). Like for example, today an employee was stalking potatos. One fell off and rolled toward me, so i picked it up and handed it to him.

How about a change of nail color? Just spray a new color on right? :)

Or maybe try those smush on shoe polish colors in the roller top bottle. You could change them every day really quick!

What's a good age to start with kids? Mine are 3 and 5. One would benefit from confidence and coordination, the other discipline and rule following (!)

I like the tootsies:).

I have THE Universe's UGLIEST feet!!!! :( I can't wear sandals or open toed shoe's. On one foot I have a seriously crossed bunion. The other does the vulcan split ("be well & prosper"). Little children run away shrieking with fear (I made that up LOL) At the beach I bury them and they don't surface until I leave. The worst part is that I had surgery on them and within 3 months they went back to their crossed self. No refunds either! In my next life I want party pheet!!!

      Celiac flare years after diagnosis

      Hi Trent, no dairy. Other than good quality butter. I have been lactose free for years. No corn, sugar, even seasonings and spices. I don't eat out. I cook my own food.

      Hello Russ! Thank you so much for your reply. I have not had an antibody test done, ever, relating to gluten. Last year I had an allergy test done via blood draw (as my insurance wouldn't cover the skin test) but this was for pollen and grasses, not food. Even on the blood test I had extremely high levels of reactions to each allergen. Could this seasonal...

This equates to a piece of bread the size of a small pea. Even on the blood test I had extremely high levels of reactions to each allergen. Could this seasonal allergy inflammation be contributing to my celiac inflammation? I am so careful, there is no way I could ingest gluten. For example, couple of months ago I tried a cough drop that says it was gluten free. I checked ingredients, it seemed fine. But just taking one of those caused me to have nausea, vomiting, and the same extreme abdominal pain. Have you ever heard of anyone else having symptoms like mine after being diagnosed celiac and strictly gluten free? The last episode I had like this was yesterday, after I ate a certified gluten-free coconut macaroon with a little chocolate on it. I have eaten coconut and chocolate before with no issue,  so I didn't see how I could all of a sudden have such a strong response.

I don't think that touching or throwing bread around would lead to you ingesting enough to cause a reaction. There are case reports of farmers with coeliac disease reacting to the dust from gluten-containing animal feed but they were inhaling large amounts of dust over a long period of time in barns. Perhaps you episodes are caused by a reaction to something other than gluten? Have you had your antibody levels checked to see whether you are still being exposed to gluten?
