Believe it or not, I also like that annoying little homeless boy. There was something about him...

He was good...I liked him too, but the fake accent was hilarious! :lol::lol:

I actually didn't watch anything except the very first guy...the one they made turn around to sing. :lol:

Hi, I'm new and AI is a guilty pleasure for me too. Need something to keep me distracted from life. I have no musical talent what so ever, unless you count playing the radio. I can do that pretty well. Is is just me, or does who they send through seem random somtimes. Like the homeless boy. He didn't seem like a good singer. At least I have heard better, and that means nothing since I can't hear a tune or pitch or any of that, but still. . . sometimes it seems like they can't either.

The homeless boy was different but I did like him.

The girl who was dancing all over the place was a little odd, and then she got mad when they asked her if she was faking it.

The rocker was amazing her second song was Traveling Band by CCR.

Susie, if you want to see Paula being spacey, watch Hey Paula! Apparently she goes days and days without sleeping. She looks horrible and makes absolutely no sense. Its sad, but hilarious.

Last night was another great show. I really don't remember anyone except for the girl that they made learn the Dolly song. I actually kind of liked her. Her singing left a lot to be desired, but she was sweet. She did sound a lot like Dolly!

Paula does seem to get spacier as the days go on. Did you see them making fun of her the other night when she couldnt say the word no?

Thanks for the welcome! I checked out right after sending that. No one else was online at that moment.

I liked the Dolly sound alike myself. She was sweet, but again, not really as talented as others. I guess they figure that they can weed out the less talented people in Dollywood, or Hollywood or whatever.

Can't wait for tomorrow's show!

I did not like the pagent queen girl at all....she annoyed me!

So far I like Josiah (the homeless kid), the rockin' nurse, the girl tattoo shop owner (the one whose arm is completely tattoo'd), and the 16 year old boy that suffered from vocal paralysis a few months ago. I also really like the cute farmer kid, but I don't know if he's even there anymore. They didn't show him. There were a few others we liked, but I can't remember who. I think Josiah's going to fall apart if he makes it to the top 24. He's an emotional basketcase.

I was SO glad that the Lampkins didn't make it any further!!! Jeffrey was really starting to get on my nerves! I didn't like the pageant queen girl either.

Personally,

My favorites from previous AI seasons are Kelly, Clay, Carrie, and Josh Greyson (country singer-I think that's his name)...he was the military guy with a new baby who challenged Simon to do push-ups on stage from season 1.

The person I think got screwed by voters was Tamiarah (sp?) from season 1 (I think).

The guy dressed in feathers at this year's auditions had me cracking up. I just love watching the auditions. Makes me feel more normal ;):blink:

So far, my favorite is the 18 yr. old kid with brown hair...he's got a gorgeous voice, and he seems very polite.

Well, that's my life. Taking care of my son, cleaning the house, and getting a good laugh from the AI auditions. Kind of sad... well, everything but my baby. He's my joy. :wub:

Where is everyone??

Now that it is down to 24 people, I'll start watching AI. :D I watched the guys last night. I liked a few of them. Some them I really didn't care for (like the Ellen DeGeneres look-alike).

Um, what's up with Paula's puffy face?

I'm going to try to watch tonight, but I'm leaving town in the morning so I'm not sure if I will be able to.

That Danny kid that sang Elvis's Jail House rocked bothers me....he is a bit stuck on himself. I didn't care for Colton either. Where is the kid who lived in his car...I started watching and missed the first few.

The homeless kid didn't make the top 24. I really liked that 17-year-old. Was his name David? The guy with the dread locks who played guitar was good too. I don't really remember anyone else. :huh:

The guys are really strong this year!!! Last year most of the guys didn't even deserve to be there. This year its the opposite, they're mostly all awesome with only a few exceptions. So how do you think the girls will do tonight? I hope they're even half as good as the guys. Thus far my guy favorites are the Davids, Jason Castro, and Michael Johns. I hope they all make it to the top 12. :) I can't wait to hear the girls tonight!!!

I only watched the first hour last night, so didn't get to see much, lol. Will probably do the same tonight.

I think they have some really strong contenders in both women and men this year...kind of exciting, lol.

Now that it has been narrowed down, I'm gonna start watching, like you Cheri :lol:

I tivoed it and haven't had a chance to watch it yet, it's hard to keep up with when it is on 3 nights a week :wacko:

What do you guys all think about the questions being raised that some of the contestants aren't ameteurs??

Tivo is an amazing thing, it only took me about 20 minutes to watch all of the performances :lol:

That means there is about an hour and forty minutes of commercials and filler in the 2 hr show :lol::lol:

Oh wait, I take it back! :P I really liked the Aussie guy too. I think he sang last.

I wish i would of seen the guys and the stuff simon was saying to garrett.

The kid is from colorado and i want him to keep going lol even tho i havent heard him sing yet lol

I did watch a few of the ladies last night, i think from 7 to 12. The older one at the end was pretty good, even tho i think she looks alot older then 24.

      Going for upper endoscopy today

      Her results only showed greater then 100 which over 10 is considered positive. But American standards still recommend the endoscopy to confirm. And the Dr explained to us both the European and American standards and asked us what we wanted to do. We figured since it’s still recommended here, do the endoscopy so Insurance can’t argue anything in the fut...

If she has over 10x that level, and you have celiac disease, I'm not sure if a biopsy is necessary to diagnose her.       I have increased my vitamin intake Vitamin B Complex plus 2 Thiamax, NeuroMag, Benfotiamine with breakfast. I continue reading and watching gluten free items that I eat.       My daughter also has it, and it's much better to discover it early. What was the positive level for her test? If she has over 10x that level, and you have celiac disease, I'm not sure if a biopsy is necessary to diagnose her. In the Europe the new protocol for making a celiac disease diagnosis in children is if their tTg-IgA (tissue transglutaminase IgA) levels are 10 times or above the positive level for celiac disease. According to the latest research, if the blood test results are at certain high levels that range between 5-10 times the reference range for a positive celiac disease diagnosis, it may not be necessary to confirm the results using an endoscopy/biopsy: Blood Test Alone Can Diagnose Celiac Disease in Most Children and Adults TGA-IgA at or Above Five Times Normal Limit in Kids Indicates Celiac Disease in Nearly All Cases No More Biopsies to Diagnose Celiac Disease in Children!

      UPDATE:  here I am a couple months past my full diagnosis and going gluten free.  I’ve been feeling a lot better.  More energy, joint pain has gone down a lot.  Haven’t really had the headaches and migraines I’ve had for years.   My daughter(age 17) has had some symptoms which we thought were something else, but with my diagnosis I said,  have the dr test her for celiacs.  Her antibodies came back as greater then 100.  So she is scheduled for her endoscopy and going to be joining me on this journey.

Lunch since im at a deli gluten-free is hard to come by so I stick with turkey with gluten-free Promise bread. Dinner varies like gluten-free pasta, tacos, chicken, sausage, meat etc. rice or take out from gluten-free places. I have decided to stay away from gluten-free pizza as I feel I felt weird with it unless its store bought frozen. I am going to try to make my own gluten-free bread, Bagels. I have been good with baking gluten-free treats like cookies, muffins. Snacks if its not fruit, veggies I grab a protein bar or chocolate guilty pleasure reeses, hersheys, York PP. I am going to start to use my fitness pal app to track what I eat and note when I feel off to see if I can pinpoint if a trend of a certain gluten-free food is a culprit. I noticed once in a while I feel a little bloated, gassy that I think is from the pizza so I am going to avoid it and continue narrowing it down. I have been doing very well and I have learned even if you think you are doing everything 100% gluten-free eating it can sneak in without you knowing. This year is more traveling which im afraid of but have already looked into gluten-free places in Nashville which they have and back to Aruba I went last year and have the gluten-free places already selected. Most restaurants I have been to have been very helpful with what to stay away from to avoid CC. If a place states they don't have any gluten-free the I stick with a salad or when I took my kids to breakfast as much as I miss the breakfast this place serves I played it safe with yogurt and a fruit bowl so at least my kids were happy to go there again. Local farmers market has great gluten-free items that I treat myself to like different types of breads, baked goods. My journey continues...
