I can't do bus trips without feeling ill. Is there anything I can take that will not totally knock me out and is gluten free?

Joni-- if you are in Canada or near Canada, get yourself some GRAVOL. I took the little pills-- there were some other formats too. Maybe you can order it on the internet. I took it on a recent trip to Vancouver and it was great. We reented a SUV and my boyfriend drives like a maniac. I needed it badly.

LOL, good thing you had it for that wild ride. I can't even stand being a passenger in a car being driven normally!

Unfortunately I'm not close to Canada. I will look online for it though. Maybe there is a US equivalent?

Well.. the thing about it is that one of the formulations (the chewable pills) actually says "gluten free."

Scooble down to the last entry and you will see it. I had to ask a pharmacist in Richmond, which is how I knew they were safe. I bet you can order them online.

I am sorry for you-- I know how bad it can be. I cannot imagine feeling that sick and being on a bus with screaming kids. Poor you!

      I put on over 12kg by eating protein with every meal, 3 to 5 times a day. Eggs, Chicken, Tuna, Turkey etc. I stay away from too much red meat as it can be inflammatory. Scott is correct. I've come across a bunch of Coeliac PT's on Tiktok and Instagram. They all say the same thing, the key is getting enough protein and consistency.

      Trader Joe's carries a good variety of affordable gluten-free foods like bagels, hamburger buns, pasta, etc. I like Franz Gluten Free bread, which is available at my local Costco. Food For Life and Little Northern Bakehouse (advertisers here) also make excellent gluten-free breads. Costco also sells gluten-free pizzas, crackers, gravy, etc.
