My son was tested by a top childrens hospital. His Symptoms are small stature bone age 2 years behind his age. He is 10. He has a vitamin d difiencey, His teeth are discolored, He can not put weight on. Weight has been 49-51lbs for past 3 years. His pediatrician told me its just constitutional growth delay and he is fine that he is in the 5th percentile and its normal for him. He is allergic to all grasses, trees, weeds. The Childrens hospital did a TTG-IGA, EMA-IGA both were negative and a Iga which his result was 78 normal range was 70-335. I went to see gi yesterday and she said she was gonna do a rast test for wheat and other foods and that i should try a boost drink for kids before bed for extra calories. I have to go back in three months and she said then we can see were he is as far as growth and talk about a endoscopy. So we get home and i decided to pull my husbands old ttg test FROM 2007 and he tested a 6 on his ttg-weak positive and his doctor had told us he was negative. With discovering my husband was positive do you think it would be unreasonable to demand a endoscopy on my son. Any suggestions. Has anyone had there kid test negative on ema, igg and still have celiac?

My oldest son was the same way. Some boys grow very little between 7 and 11. Mine was pretty much the same size at 12 he was at 8. In the last 9 months, he's grown close to 4" and gained a good 15 lbs.

I strongly agree with others about processed gluten free foods, like breads and pasta, being bad for us. Read the labels, full of this starch and that starch, seed oils that are inflammatory, etc. Before you were celiac, you probably wouldn't even touch something with those ingredients. I do much better with whole foods, meat, veggies, a little fruit. I made 90% myself, make extra and freeze it for future meals. Cutting out processed gluten free food and eating mostly real whoke food helped me feel much better. And definitely benfotiamine!

Please be sure to try Benfotiamine or Thiamine Hydrochloride.  The form Thiamine Mononitrate is not absorbed nor utilized well.  Benfotiamine is much more bioavailable.  Perhaps Thiamine Mononitrate was in your previous B Complex supplements, explaining why they didn't work for you.   All the B vitamins work together.  Thiamine needs the other B vitamins to make enzymes and ATP, so you will need to take them.  Taking them in individual supplements is fine.  I've done the same.  Just remember you need all eight.   Let me know how it's going for you!

Thanks! This makes a lot of sense.

Thanks! I am currently trying B1 out on its own. I tried many brands of B-complex and they always make me feel nauseous and tired. I think I may have to try taking each B vitamin on its own.
