I'm getting a bit phreaked out about ticket sales....we've sold enough to all shows to have broken even, but I wake up every night covered in sweat, thinking of all the kids standing behind those big, velvet curtains, and they slowly part...... the lights come up, and they find themselves looking out at a crowd of thirty people..... .. . :( . .. . :unsure: .....

If the Psillllyville Royal Dictionary did, in fact, get left behind in the mad retreat to Psillyville 2, methinks it could be recreated. If we each contribute one word per day, and put someone (not me, she says quickly) in charge of the compilation thereof, should be done in no time. We already have two words today, ept and clement in nonalphabetical order. I will post my contribution shortly.

When you're on stage the lights are in your eyes and you really can't see past the first two rows. Just put yourself in charge of seating so's you can set the stage for a great audience look.

This is so true. It is amazing how little you can see from the stage. Often you can not even hear the audience that well. Really helps if your the kind that is nervous in front of crowds.

Well down here, in Wellywood, in Middle-earth, in Wellington in the middle of New Zealand at the bottom of the earth, peeps is going nutz over elves and special effects and make-up and sculptors who sculpted all the tools and implements for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, as it is set to premiere this evening. The stars are promenading down the red carpet as we speak, and Peter Jackson has gained weight again as he always does during filming. And I don't believe I will go watch this one either :rolleyes: Ya see, I is not a real fan of special effects that look like special effects, and my attention span is longer than that of an 18-year-old and I don't like alll the choppiness of virtual movies, and bah humbug and all that jazz............ now Jazz, there's something I could get excited about.....

I read an article today about the stupid names parents pick out for their kids. I'm not on twitter, but some crazy people named their baby Hashtag. Seriously?? :blink: Why?? Poor kid...

Well, that kid's saving grace will be if he ends up a six-foot two, 250-pound linebacker on the school football team. Hashtag will work, there... . . . ..but if he's a scrawny little mathS nerd...... .. ....oh, dear... .. . . ... <_< ...

My stepdaughter went to school with a kid whose last name was Case, so of course his mother named him Justin. But the bad part was, every time she'd take him somewhere she would announce in a VERY loud voice, "Just in case you were wondering, Justin Case is here!"

The kid is grown up now. I wonder if he even speaks to his mother anymore.

      It sounds like you have an allergy or separate intolerance to quinoa, but there is the slight possibility it was somehow cross-contaminated with wheat, even though it was certified gluten-free.

      Unless gluten exposure is happening on a regular basis, it is doubtful that blood antibodies would show up elevated in testing. It takes time for them to build up to detectable levels.

      It has been a year since I started my Elimination diet from gluten. I have learned alot w/o being diagnosed (going through eating gluten for a test isn't happening) The first month or so were learning curve and I have learned to READ LABELS which are tricky as not just gluten but possibly wheat may affect you or other Gluten containing ingredients that are spelled out. I have found great protein bars w/o sugar alcohols as I noticed those increased gas. I have taken vitamins as suggested by members on this board. Started baking gluten free, when going out I have found gluten friendly restaurants. I have felt so much better since eliminating gluten/sugar alcohols. It is hard to find sugar free products but I limit myself to gluten free snacks as they have high sugar etc. I have been using Bobs Red Mill gluten-free oatmeal and One Degree Farmers oatmeal but I am looking to try some new breakfast ideas like Buckwheat or a great gluten-free cereal. Journey still continues and learning more and more.

Also, please tell your doctor about the topiramate change, meningioma, and the garlic, especially since you were told not to eat garlic. Even if your husband doesn’t see what you see, your symptoms are real and deserve a careful medical evaluation.

      HI Nancy, In your first post, you said that you were diagnosed by biopsy and blood test - this is what I was referring to: the blood test is for antibodies that are made during active disease. After a period on a strictly gluten-free diet, the antibodies return to low level. It is a good way of checking for accidental exposure if symptoms persist. If you are reacting to foods that don't contain gluten, you may be reacting to something else. Alternatively, a condition called SIBO is common in people with coeliac disease, where there is an overgrowth of bacteria in the small intestine. This can be tested for with a simple breath test. The main treatment is with a course of antibiotic. Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO)
