bought one of these the other day


reason i didn't get a "real" bag hanging from the ceiling is i wasn't allowed to drill holes into the ceiling lol. so i got this instead. JUNK!! well maybe not total junk, it'll do for now. i punch pretty ferociously and find i'm moving the whole unit, like 3 feet in one direction after 1min of punching. so after 1min i have to go to the opposite side to move the unit back to where it was before. it provides decent resistance, but you're moving the unit for that resistance. this would make a great training unit though, if you're just lightly tapping the bag with your fist, or also for kickboxing.

so not something i'd recommend...a real bag is much better if you're allowed to put holes into your ceiling in your house haha

Too bad you don't prefer this type of bag. I have several in my school and really enjoy them despite the movement. I have used traditional bags in the past and don't mind the movement at all. I guess I'm used to it. Have you tried to add more water to increase the weight?
