    Just wanted to add my opinion. My son was just dx July 28th. He was having issues swallowing for hours on end. No other syptoms that then we thought about. Went on my weeks then they did the scope. He was pos. for Celiac from the biopsy. Dr then ordered some base line blood work. Well it all came back fine( one level was a little elevated).     Is Celiac considered a disability? I was thinking about going this route for Hunter but questioned the disabilty part..?

    Hunter had a slight fever Sat. night into yesterday- the day and complained of a stomach ache. He had a bunch of Oredia fries at MIL's that I'm wondering if they did it. Thoughts?

    I know it would look weird but what if they wore a surgical mask? That would block out the particals from entering the mouth. It's something to consider if you dont want them feeling left out.

    I've still put off buying these for Hunter, as I am not sure of brands and which ones contain gluten. I have been using Kiss my face bar soap on him then no lotion. Please let me know which are safe. Namebrands would be great. So what do you all use on your kiddos? TIA!!

    Is that a myth then? I thought they did contain Gluten? All stickers are safe?

    What vitamin was prescribed? I actually called her today to write a script. I figure any money I can save the better! I think she was looking into what one is safe.. Thanx for your help.

    I know you all said gummy vites, which I found but his Dr. wants a vitamin with iron since he is a little anemic. I bought Curious George made by Health Science Labs. They say they are not made with Gluten but are proccesed on equiptment that may contain traces of it. I called the company and didn have much luck comunicating with the guy. He was going to...

    Just wondering why they cant play with playdoh, is it just the chance of getting it in the mouth or does it get absorbed through the skin? I'm thinking it does, since we have to watch soaps etc. also.. Just wondering. TIA!

    Dr said it is definatly Celiac now. He thought Hunter got better w/out being gluten-free. I told him the deal. He said to be very strict with the diet. he even said to be obsessive about it. Anyway, so now I need a gluten-free vitamin for him (he's 3) a bath soap. He used to use Aveeno, safe? He gets very dry ithcy skin w/ out it. But I hesitate to use...

    Since Hunters blood work came back fine. The Dr says hes not sure if its Celiac, and to put him back on a normal diet for 2 mths then do a repeat scope...     ~Some Background~ My son just turned 3 last Friday. On Fathers day he woke to some vommiting, then that followed each day progressivly worse of not being able to swallow. Not even his own spit.
