  1. Thank you all! Another addition is Shadybrook Farms has it on the front of their label too, No artificial, no MSG, Gluten Free. KLS
  2. Which popular turkey's are gluten free? i.e. Butterball, Perdue, etc. Does anyone know off hand? Thanks in advance....
  3. I get that too. Really tender and hypersensitive in that range. But I don't know if it's because I just ate gluten a month ago and I'm still in pain from it. KLS
  4. Betty, you and I are living similar lives. I also went to a new gastro on Wednesday and she's like, "I don't think you have Celiac." And I told her how I feel after I eat something with gluten in it and she was still skeptical, so I just got aggravated and said, "Fine. Believe what you want to believe. I know the truth and I know my body." She wanted me to...
  5. Garnier sent me a list today of gluten ingredients - Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Flour Cyclodextrin Dextrin Dextrin Palmitate Hydrolyzed Oat Flour Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein Hydrolyzed Wheat Flour Hydrolyzed Wheat Gluten Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein/PVP Crosspolymer Hydrolyzed Wheat Starch Maltodextrin...
  6. I bring Gluten Free Crackers to my church, because myself and a few others have Celiac. Ask your pastor. KLS
  7. I am *SO* lucky. I called up Garnier Fructis and they said that all the products that I use by them *ARE* in fact GLUTEN - FREE!!! Yay!!!!!!! I'm so glad I checked. I love their products. (Doing the Happy Hair dance) KLS
  8. Oh whew, hope you're right. Yeah. I will definitely call on Monday to double check. I use a couple of products of Garnier to straighten my hair - they are - Smoothing Milk and Sleek and Shine - it's more to get rid of frizz though. Then I use a flat iron to straighten it more. KLS
  9. OMG, Garnier Fructis isn't? I don't know what I am going to do now. I have a whole lot of it and it really straightens my hair. I do have Nature's Gate at least. I know that's 100% pure. KLS
  10. Is Garnier Fructis gluten free? Love them to death. KLS
  11. They could have been. That's the only thing that's coming up for me, that the juices that they were in had gluten in it. I didn't think of the vinegar part of it though. That's interesting. Yeah it is. It's very severe. I can't believe how long this is lasting. I'm scheduled for a barrium swallow tomorrow to check things out more. Thank you very much. KLS
  12. I'm sorry you're so restricted. I know it sucks, cause I can relate to you on the restricted part. I can ONLY eat soluable foods. Right now because of my stomach, I'm only on liquids and baby food. When I'm not having a hard time, I can add in other soluable foods, but it's not a big list. And not being able to eat gluten on top of every thing, I'm very restricted...
  13. Oh wow, really? LOL gees. That scares me that doctor's don't know crap sometimes. Well, I listed everything and he commented on every thing, so after I said, "Heart of Palm" he said, "That's about as fatty as you can get." Thanks, Carla. KLS
  14. Thank you *all* so much for replying to me. Hopefully it will only be the 2 weeks. I ended up going to the E.R. last night because I was getting pains in my chest when I bent over and I could hardly even sit down! My blood levels were off, and they thought it might be my gallbladder or pancreas, but the CT said it looked OK. It's possible I could have had...
  15. Hi All, I've had Celiac Sprue for over 2 years. I got it after brain surgery. So believe it or not, still kind of new to this disease. On Saturday I went to a vegetarian/vegan cookout, so I thought I was pretty safe and asked what was in a dish and there was nothing that had gluten in it, but all she had to do was forget one ingredient, and we're screwed...
