I heard from someone who has had celiac disease for 12 years that I'm not suppose to be drinking Coke or in my case, Diet Coke....can someone please clarify that for me please. Thank you! Janet

That's so frustrating about what your mother experienced! And I had to laugh at your last comment, that is hysterical!! I went out to a salad place for lunch Thursday, I told the waiter I couldn't have any gluten and I too had two pieces of what looked like pita bread on top of my salad. There is so much I can't eat but I can eat Burger King french fries and I do about 3 times a week and haven't gotten sick yet!

I agree about the cross-contamination too. It's 12:11am and I am still sick. I think my days of eating out are over. The table next to us the folks stared at me - I was so humiliated! Hez, that made me laugh...I can't eat at a fine restaurant but I know I can digest the #7 combo at Burger King , how wierd is that! Janet
