  1. Thanks for your response. About 2 1/2 months ago my dr sent me for bloodwork. It did include a CBC and some other tests, but everything came back normal. I know the fevers are on the low side, but it is above normal for me. Also, when they are slightly elavated, I can feel the increase. That's what leads me to checking my temp. It really wears me out too...
  2. Hey everyone. I was just wondering if anyone could help me figure out what is wrong with me! I have had chronic sinus problems for years. I had sinus surgery about three years ago which helped for awhile, but before I knew it, the problems returned. I am not sure if has any relation to celiac. I was diagnosed with celiac disease a year ago, but looking back...
  3. Does anyone know if there are bloodtests to diagnose other food intolerances, or am I stuck doing an elimination diet?
  4. I am taking Lame Advertisement right now. I called the manufacturer before starting it, and they said there was no gluten in it. Some of the side effects can be mistaken as getting glutened?
  5. I am taking Lame Advertisement right now. It really works! I do not snack or sleep more, nor did I gain weight. I have tried to quit before and was a nervous wreck half the time and wanted to strangle someone the other half. I am pretty calm while taking the Lame Advertisement. The only side effect I suffer from is some nausea. I knew nausea was a side effect...
  6. Well, it sounds like you are doing everything right. One thing is you should make sure you are getting at least a little protein every day because this helps keep blood sugars stable. The blood sugars you posted are not a cause for alarm as they are not too high, but since they are above your normal range, you should probably give your dr a call and let him...
  7. I have type 1 and I know it's frustrating when your blood sugars bounce around. First, when did you last take the dose. Second, if you still have an infection, your blood sugars can be out of control. They will usually run higher than normal.
  8. I was prescribed levaquin about 2 months ago, but my pharmacy called me before they filled it because it could affect blood sugars. I am a diabetic also. They contacted my dr, and I got a different antibiotic. After reading your post I am even more thankful that the pharmacy caught it before giving it to me!
  9. Thanks for the replies. It does make me feel a little better knowing that I'm not the only one struggling with this. I guess I'll just keep working on it.
  10. I have gained 13 pounds since going gluten free at the end of August. In the beginning I did not exercise at all due to the lack of energy and sleeping all the time. Now I live off mostly fruits, vegetables, and chicken. I exercise regularly and I can't shed a pound! I started exercising regularly about 3 months ago. After 3 weeks I GAINED 2 pounds...
  11. I hate having to put my life on hold- dropping out of college and praying evrery day that god will get through another work day. Explaining to my aunt for the 100th time that I will never be able to reintroduce gluten into my diet, and I will never "grow out of it." Not being able to be spontaneous because I have to meal plan for diabetes and celiac...
  12. Since Friday I've been getting mild cramping and pain in my esophogus. When I swallow food or liquids it's much worse. It is in just one area. When I drink something hot/warm like coffee or tea it is it is even worse. Before I was diagnosed with celiac disease, I would get severe esophogus cramping every once in awhile. What I've been experiencing the last...
  13. ya know the wax that's on fruit to make it shiny? Is that gluten free?
