  1. Christi- One line in your post really struck me. If a person has died of spontaneous organ rupture, you NEED to be tested to Vascular EDS (Type 4). This is the most deadly type of EDS and one only needs a skin biopsy to determine if they have it or not. I have Ehlers-Danlos, presumably type 3, however because my aunt suffered a uterine rupture...
  2. Hi everybody- I just got my test results back and I am so confused. My doctor has "never seen anything like that before" . I was hoping someone here might have seem something similar or can tell me a little more about what this means. Gliadin Ab (IgA) = <3 Reference Ranges: Less than 11 = Negative ...
  3. Sorry Steve, I would have to disagree. If you have low cortisol and/or low aldosterone (glucocorticiods and mineralcorticoids) it can lead to hypoglycemia. A word about blood tests - make sure you get the results. I've been struggling with my doctor for almost a week now trying to get my results (one was positive, but she refuses to tell me which one without...

I am in the US and I know that they have to give me results and/or copies of my blood work, but getting that is like pulling teeth. Apparently, because there was a positive result only the doctor can talk to...
  6. Hi all- I've been having a lot of the problems described here (fatigue, foggy mood, digestive issues, sensitive stomach, etc). I've been pretty much having constant stomach pain since I was 8 (22 now) and after switching from a pediatrician to a General Practioner, I was told that I needed to have the stomach pain checked out. I went to a GI who did...
